I was 33 when i had my daughter. Her Dad was 40.... my jaw just dropped when you said someone asked you that. By todays standards you are both young parents. At 32 when i first was pregnant a midwife at my hospital called me a 'geriatric mother' but now i think most mums are older so its becoming the norm. Today is my first fathers day without my dad as he passed away just after new year. Its been and odd day but i would say watching Ottie face painting defiantly took me from a 6 to a 7 out of 10. Thankyou xxx

I’m 36 and currently 31 wks pregnant with my first. You’re not older parents! This question probably came from a teenager or someone who got pregnant as a teenager. lol I definitely feel like there is a huge difference between those who have taken precautions to to have children before they’re ready and those who have had surprise babies in their younger years. My husband and I waited until we felt really ready and were financially stable. I wanted to make sure I REALLY wanted to be a mom. Both are valid, but I am so glad I did things the way I’ve done them. 💖

I started watching the video at a 1/10 My landlord has to sell the house due to retiring. House prices have tripled since i started renting this house so i have to go down the homeless route. Which is so scary. I always worked so hard. I had a mental breakdown in 2021. Broke my spine in 2022, was diagnosed with a condition where my vertebrae keep breaking on their own. Constantly having to go to hospital for mri scans & xrays. I had to stop working due to it So now this has has just topped it all off. Otties face painting & how hilarious she is, definitely put a nice little smile on my face. So thank you for sharing that with us ❤ Ive watched you and zoe since the first ever video you did together & it makes me happy that you both are still so kind, caring, humble and beautiful people. Your family is wonderful(including extended family) and on days like today, yours, zoes and joes videos really help me just escape for a while

Only advice for wedding planning I have: if you stick to what Zoe and you want from this wedding and focus on how you want to feel on that day and how want your guests to feel, planning will be enjoyable 🥰 We had a wonderful (even exponentially better than we thought) wedding last year and we just kept our vision of “having a great time with our closest family and friends, but on our terms” (still ~50 people) always in mind and when choosing location, food, dress etc. just thought about what WE wanted and tried not to get influenced by others. Also didn’t get lost in the details of it but stuck to the whole vision and then in my opinion it doesn’t matter what flowers, cake, location etc it is, as long as it all adds up to what you pictured in general.

Have to say, I had a really bad anxiety attack that lasted for nearly 2 hours before I got off work. I got home and I could feel it turning more and more into a panic attack. I put your video on and I slowly felt the anxiety go away. I’ve been watching your videos since 2013 and it’s just a pure comfort feeling when I watch them. So I’d say I went from a 2, to a solid 6 ❤️

Thank you Alfie, I honestly felt like a number one at the beginning of your video. I’ve recently been diagnosed with Lymphedema and had the worst night last night, my legs are angry red, swollen and felt like they were on fire. I’ve been trying to take my mind off the pain all day (Pain relief doesn’t even help) Watching your video, you mentioning about therapy, which I’m having and which helps a lot. You helped me feel more relaxed and more positive. I’d like to say I feel a number ten now, but realistically I feel around a five, but i’m happy with that. Also, you and Zoe aren’t old parents!!! What a cheek!

They are 14 and 16 and have to go without their phones for a week but I think they'll still make some good memories🎉 I've been watching both you and Zoe since before you were official! Question for next week’s vlog…as someone who grew up in a family as 1 of 2 close siblings… is there a particular memory that you are looking forward to seeing your girls experience as they get older? Example: Holiday get-togethers in my family are an excuse for the most epic game nights ever with sibling teams… my sister and I ALWAYS dominated and I cannot wait to see my 2 daughters carry on the tradition ❤
