So I make to Las Vegas on the Harley Davidson Road King, come face to face with a Vegas Police officer who rides a Harley, lose some money at the Casino then start making my way to Zion National Park, the motorbike road trip is only just getting started !! I underestimate Zion National Park in a big way !

Danny, Lock the back wheel. The crooks put a 2x4 through the frame, right under the gas tank. Then with a crook on each side they lift up the front end and walk in on a crook's trailer. Then she gone. With the rear wheel locked, they can’t lift the bike without a fork lift. Of course if they have a cut off wheel, the lock is gone in ten seconds anyway. I use the lock that goes on the back disc. It is much harder to get at with the cut off wheel. The thing that works the best is a plain black motorcycle cover. No one knows what is under it and it is rare that anyone one will touch anything as it doesn’t draw attention. I live near Chicago and I used the cover trick in the states and Mexico. No one touched anything. I learned that from listening to Easy Rider Radio podcasts. The world motorcycle riders share their stories and tips on packing, border crossings and safety, etc.

Great tip on the cover. I cover my bike to hide it when stealth camping, but never thought of using a cover for urban camouflage.

Rode from Boston to Las Vegas...the change in scenery across the USA was amazing.. NYC to endless woodlands to Deserts & Mountains...such an amazing country. Watching Danny in Vegas brought back some fun but also very painful memories.. (GOt knocked off the bike and broke me legs..lol)

Your damn right take that helmet off. I'm 51. I remember when there were no helmet laws. Do I ride with one on? Of course I do. Do I appreciate riding in a state where I'm free to go helmetless for a few hours with just some sunglasses on. Yes I do. That's the beauty of it. I personally feel being on a bike without a helmet, just ticks up the enjoyment a notch on a sunny day. Catching a rock the size of a Tic Tac in the face at 75 mph will make you reevaluate in a hurry. 😜

Great video as usual, man I miss California Arizona Nevada. Can't wait to get back there. We stayed at the same motel in Vegas, we toured around all day without making accommodations as usual. I use a bicycle cable lock to lock my helmet and or jacket.

Well my summer has been cut short Danny. Last Sunday night my Honda Hornet 600 was stolen from outside my house. It was locked, chained and padlocked but they must have hoiked it into a van or something. The upshot of it though is that my Mrs says I can now have a Harley. Of course I want a Road King like yours but like most of your fans I'm not a real estate mogul and will have to probably settle for an old £5K banger. This one will have chains on both wheels and an alarm. C'est la Vie...... Danny, you need to make these esipodes longer or closer together cos we're clambering for your content, especially now I am bike less. Oh and thanks for the 'Top Fan' badge. Just thought I'd mention it for all those that haven't got one.....
