From what I was told and you can inform me if it's different but from what I was told. They want to charge you for using KZbin, Google, Facebook, Twitter. It would be like a cable plan. Which it's already hard enough paying for internet. And with that they'll be able to enter everything you see, hear and read. And start marketing you, influence you into buying and viewing what big companies want you to see. I mean they're doing this now but if they start charging it'll be like brainwashing us into mindless human vessels. And that I'm not okay with but again this is what I've heard.

To comment on Geo's, "KZbin has no exuse" comment. 300 hours of content of KZbin per minute, 18,000 hours per hour, 432,000 hours per day. Hiring more people is simply not an option. However, they could MAYBE manage to hire more people to watch for channels with over say 1 million subscribers on KZbin, even that is challenge because they are over 2,000 such channels. But they should definitely be more transparent with their creators.

I don't remember thew exact video or numbers but it is insane how much data is on the servers. Probably easier to google. I dont understand that if a video is flagged by KZbin, instead of automatically demonitizing it.. Why can't they just put it in a pending status where it can be reviewed/contested and if it turns out to be a mistake, the creator can still get the money that would have been earned instead of them getting screwed. And of course, if it isnt contested within a certain amount of time or after being reviewed, it turns out to be something inappropriate for ads, then the creator doesn't get the money. That just seems like common sense to me.

If KZbin is too big, categorize the creators. KZbin.gaming.com, KZbin.news.com, KZbin.politics.com, KZbin.music.com, etc. And then categorize by views: KZbin Brass for starters, KZbin Iron for regular posters, KZbin Bronze for people with 5k+ subscribers or views, KZbin Silver, etc. You don't need a subscription fee like with stupid Red; this is just to make it easier for the devs to get in touch with the KZbinrs from each tier. It's like what Joe said: it's demoralizing to see your video not getting any revenue due to the new system that won't let you monetize your content. This way, you can make KZbin less strict on your Brass creators, and those KZbinrs who want to be sponsored can be put in Gold and above, while those who have the numbers but don't want to be sponsored can stay in Gold and below. When sponsors want something specific, the devs/moderators at KZbin can mail just those in Gold and above, while those in Silver and below are unaffected. If KZbin was categorized, ad creators would be able to pick where their ads go, which will create competition between ad generators. Besides being a search headache, this is a win-win for everyone.
