We have a 16 month old poodle/ Bischon that we got when he was 8 weeks old. We crate trained him right away. We let him slept in his crate in our bedroom and as long as he is in the same room as us he is satisfied. I am pretty strict with a new puppy. I am just starting to trust that Piper will not have an accident in the house. It was exhausting in the beginning, but I think (I hope) it has paid off! It did with our other dog, and seems to be the same now. Congrats on the new pup, we love they so much even if they sometimes drive us crazy! Good luck!🩷

My 5 year old granddaughter is having her first heart surgery on January 2,2025 to repair 3 holes in her heart she is going to possibly have more surgery later they say.. I know what you are going through. I’m praying for you and your family

Wind up clock near his crate might calm him. I used that method when my mini schnauzer was a pup. The ticking noise is supposed to be soothing to them. She did hate to be contained though. She ended up in our room too after awhile😂
