If your page has access to Reels, the only place they seem to be appearing right now is in the regularly Facebook App when you visit your Business Page. It's not in on Desktop, or in the Creator Studio or Business Suite Apps.

Thank you for this! I found it really helpful since I was having trouble just finding where to upload a reel on my business page LOL. Do you have any insight into the algorithm on Facebook and the audio used? For instance, if I just upload the same video I used in an Instagram reel into a Facebook reel, does it matter that there is no audio manually inserted into the reel? Does it change my reach on Facebook? Especially since it has the Instagram icon in the bottom left with the audio used. Thank you for any help you can give!

Because FB & IG are the same company you're probably fine. But if music is a key part of the Reel I would definitely add some music back in on Facebook when you upload.

Very informative, thank you. Do you happen to know if FB/IG have now restricted business accounts from using the music clips listed under reels? I understand they cannot be used for paid boosts, however, I'm having an issue adding the music clip 'error message, try again later.' Internet is up and running and error has continued for 3 hours. I was able to load music in prior reels, but it has been about 6mos.

Just curious I have a a couple of Facebook business pages. However when I post on reels it doesn’t really go out to anyone. It remains at 10-14 views tops. No matter what I have trending music. I’m really good at short form. I got 6 million on my person reels page but one 30 views on my business. They are separate and it’s not the same videos. Is this a common occurrence?

My page does not even allow me to share a post in a Facebook group. When I click on the share button- share to a group- it says "Your page is not linked to any groups where it can share posts". Right, so then I click -Link your group- it says "This isn't available right now, When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted"... help

Hey Jerry! Thank you so much for sharing this, I am helping a business run the social media content and I have been trying to create Facebook reels but when I follow your instructions the only option that I can see is "Live", the "Reels" button isn't even available to create one. That being said I am not the main Admin on the account and I have a personal Facebook page that I switch back and forth between. Do you think this could interfere with anything? I am also in Canada. Hi Danika! The only place Reels seems to be appearing right now is in the regularly Facebook App when you visit your Business Page. It's not in on Desktop, or in the Creator Studio or Business Suite Apps. As long as you are at least an Editor on the Page you'd likely see it, but I've heard from others that they don't have it quite yet.

Hmmm...I haven't ever seen "short video." Perhaps they are calling them different things in different countries? The option for "reels" is not showing on my regular mobile Facebook app for my business page. It shows up for some of my other business pages, so I can only assume it's the "type" of business page. I have no idea how to change the type of page to allow this option.

Can I ask you a question? I can’t find anything in the internet that answers my question. Why doesn’t my page have a drop down menu or menu section for my reels to be showcased for future review like I do with photos, videos, etc? I have created several reels on two of my business pages on Facebook but do not see a tab at top for of my page for reels . I looked at ‘add tabs’ section in settings but don’t see one to add a reels tab. Hey Tina! Nothing you can do. Facebook is still figuring out how they're going to incorporate Reels so some parts are messy. For now they just show up under the Videos tab.

Facebook Pages are public by default, but. if you mean your Facebook Profile, going public might increase your reach!

I don't think they've added them yet. Sometimes I will use a template on Instagram, then download it to my phone and upload it to Facebook. I've done the same thing from TikTok - they have some fun templates too!

I get the same thing. After choosing music and uploading, I get "Error Music couldn't load. Please check your connection and try again." I've probably spent 5 hrs trying everything to figure this out. I can get the Reels to work on my personal page so that doesn't make sense that it's a connection error. So frustrating!

@@michellegibber6232 I have reported it but it’s still glitches. I have gone into my settings on my iPhone to make sure the settings are on. Facebook suggested clearing the caches but that didn’t fix it. It’s been doing it for over a month now. I have to hit and miss music uploads still.

For the most part when I upload a reel on my content creator page for Facebook I have to select in the beginning the audio and whatever songs are being offered if I try to go into my saved or the rest of the library that they offer it does not upload. I have reported it and have been working with Facebook trying to problem solve this but it still glitches. Thanks for reaching out to me I was starting to think it was only me having these issues. You need to upload them from a mobile phone using the regular Facebook App. They can't be uploaded on computers yet.
