Facebook Vehicle Scam Car Adverts - Marketplace flooded by Fake Sale Posts - Useless for Selling

Facebook Marketplace seems to be flooded with fake sale adverts for cars. They are so blatantly obvious as scams that it makes you think the AI that Facebook are supposedly building isn't going to be much good as these should easily be spotted. Not only are the cars stupidly low prices but the same text is used over and over again which should be really easy for Facebook to spot.

If you click on the persons name, they’ve always got about 40 cars listed at the same time, which is obviously a dead giveaway. If you look at enough of their profiles you’ll also start to notice different accounts recycling the same photos over & over.

Exactly. If we can spot it why can't Facebook when they're meant to be AI pioneers!

⁠incredibly frustrating that they seem to ignore all user flagged spam and scam report. Myself and many of my friends are only just hanging on to FB for marketplace and groups. If they don't sort out the spam and scammers in both those sections, they're gonna lose users. It's just relentless.
