For 2025, Yamaha seems to give several improvements of the T7, because a prototype from the end of May 2024 shows either significantly changed or heavily camouflaged components that affect the chassis and ergonomics. There is also a completely new front for the popular enduro.

I hope in the end, it's not just cosmetic. What about bottoming out, mount the exhaust higher or re-vamp the exhaust so you aren't bending the sub frame etc. I get so frustrated when the companies go led, add new styling, add an USB vs cigarette style charger and call such things an upgrade. Tubeless tires, mount exhaust higher, larger TFT screen, better adjustable suspension and so on are improvements. Some companies go from incandescent bulbs to led and call it an improvement! No it's not!!! Etc etc

This is obviously just a mockup video, and it is a terrible mockup at that. Horrid stepped seat, no adjustment in front guard, and the rally tower looks terrible. Someone has mashed an old Tenere 660 around the CP2 engine, nothing more.

You can only see the left side of the engine on the camouflaged bike. That's still looks like a CP2 to me. A T3 would be sweet... but only if they designed it with an emphasis on suspension and lightness!

Booooo! Engine is brilliant in stock trim - plenty fast for cruising the hwy, or having fun in the twisties. And it has the most tractable and best low-end grunt of any middleweight, which is what you want on the trail. My only gripes with the motor are: 1) it's heavy! 2) the high gearbox makes the CG higher which makes the bike harder to pick up after you drop it. 3) that deep oil pan raises the motor CG - see point 2.

@@colinbowman8816 well, for street riding it's a bit weak but that's not a street bike. For offroad it's power delivery is perfect. On street you at least can rev the shit out of it and it doesn't break 💔
