I'm what is called a vault guy. I am in cemeteries every day. This time of year is horrible. We get ppl over 100 to months old, just had a su-cide of a young 13 yo girl. See the sorrow in families. What you do , Lamont, is pretty awesome keeping those people in the consciousness of others because after one dies you are just a memory, and your grave is just a place to visit for the holidays. Of course this isn't a 100% statement but it's a high percentage. strange that after family and friends come to the cemetery to say goodbye they leave and leave the loved one in the hands of total strangers. Some stay, most don't. I'm the last person that will ever let you down! I never knew you, but I take great care to do the job right. Letting you down in the most honorable way possible.

I was raised in a foster home and they were very strict and now I appreciate it because I have never been in trouble and I learned respect which I taught and passed on to my own children. These kids today lack a lot of good morals.

I looked up the obituary of the couple at the beginning with the last name Lonergan. I was intrigued that they both died within a month or two of each other. There wasn't much of an obituary for David, but there was one for Kathleen and what a beautiful story they had! They were each other's first loves and had two children one who died in infancy. There's even a picture of her in her younger days. She was just beautiful!

I'm so glad to see a Faces in Death. My parents were strict in a way. I wasn't allowed to date any guy that had a motorcycle. (safety concerns). I had to be home by 9:00 on weekdays, and 10:00 weekends. When I would sit on the front porch with a boy, the porch light had to be left on! And should a guy come over to visit or to help with homework, my bedroom door had to be left open! (little did they know, my boyfriend would show up at my bedroom window, tap on the glass, and we would make out without my parents knowing). I was a daddy's girl, and when mom said no, I could usually depend on my daddy, to say yes. In all they were pretty awesome.

My childhood was chaotic? Alot of stepfathers and moving all the time. My mom was not strict. She tried to lay down the lay but me and my sister just wore her down and rules went down the tube. But when my kids were born I was the total opposite of my mom. My kids followed rules but they saw real life happen. They turned out great can't believe it. I thank God every day of the good life choices they have chosen.
