Think about it.... There is not one thing on the Planet, or in the Cosmos that depends on humanity for survival. As far as everything else is concerned, humans could go extinct and it wouldn't matter at all. In fact, most other life forms would probably be better off. That is how highly we humans think of ourselves. That we are somehow needed and necessary. The actual truth is we aren't. To ourselves and each other are all we matter. Think about it....

Yeah, it's an enduring mystery about how those stones were transported. One thing about adding the label "documentary" to any presentation is that most people will believe anything they see and hear. In the past pseudo-patriotism was the big seller of bullshit, but since people no longer trust their government the vehicle has to change. Today it's the biased ulterior view presented as an unbiased, scientific study.

So according to Geo Tech Science, the earths climate is hardly determined by human interference but by the position of the earths presession cycle approximately every 26,000 years. Research also shows the ice age ended over North America approximately 12-15000 years, and... quite abruptly.

It’s almost like the only people denying climate change are right wing nuts. If the oil companies admit it exists it might be time to accept that science lol. The funny part about climate change denialists is the earth is coming out of an ice age anyway and it doesn’t really matter if it’s manmade or not if the temperature gauges say it’s hotter every year.

Adding that this is at the end of the Altithermal, from 8k-4k years ago where orbital changes raised global temps about 1C over 1,200±300 years and turned much of it to desert, near the end of this my thesis that the temperate jetstream migrated too far north what brought the centuries-long drought and when finally it moved far enough other moisture sources were able to bring some back to these areas. Noting that Caral is 1,000-years older, no biggie but it is, they had monumental architecture, did trade, using irrigation for crops, beautiful textiles and no armies ...

I took a number of ecology courses in university, back in the 70s and 80s, before all this became a political football, and science was free to pursue truth unencumbered by politics and ideological nonsense. Even back then, it was very evident that our species is upsetting the apple cart for the precious web of life which gave birth to, and sustains us.

sure humans have some effect on terrain, trees/forest.. using wood as heat source for cooking, smelting metals, ship building, fort building, house building etc, during wars that happened often, while also employing scorthed earth tactics burning everything so enemy army has harder time invading, having to drag siege weapons for long distances cos of lack of building materials, many ways to use wood alone in history.. sure, it had effects. and when forests were cut down, pastures/plains emerged, which then was rolled over by sheeps/cows for food purposes= more erosion.

Too much guesswork in this video, despite of claiming data or findings were derived of scientific studies. Especially all these goofy globe artistry and false narrative computer animations. All is based on premises, some may be correct but many false.

Only in America can you be a production team so bereft of intellect that you make a piece about geology, but draw the conclusion that the focus is the tiny conceited mammals crawling around the geological surface.

Is it just me or did anybody else think professor ice core guy got a little to excited when he was describing the process of his study. ? Our history as a species is way different than what we have been drilled with for decades in our public schools .its within those ice cores that the real truth LIES !

See, that's one of the problems with progress. It costs $1000 for an ice cube size sample. Perhaps scientific research should be funded differently, so that the fundamental research is available to everyone.

these expeditions are never about what we are told or shown .they get a blue print of the earths climate through the ice cores but what is they then do with that information,,?is that it,,they just wanted the history of the earths climate?oh okay then.

Look your evidence and all this is wrong... Glaciers did not form the continent... What makes up our hills AKA mountains.. all of us need to take a closer look at the mountains the rocks dirt sand.. and from there you'll ask yourself what in the hell are we standing on..something so colossal it makes up the continent it makes up the whole thing that were standing on...!! I love the fairy tale stories..the human world and the asteroid came in and wiped out the dinosaurs and blah blah it's all hibbity dibbity!! No joke!..

Please listen carefully, so you don't say things which are just wrong. He said that 30,000 years ago, much of the planet was covered by a thick ice sheet: he said nothing at all about when that ice age ended.

Ultimately, a thumbs down from me. While the hard science, i.e. ice and sediment cores, Earth orbit changes, was educational (to me), the speculative 'CO2 from human activity changes the whole equation' fluff soured the mish-mash soup that this video is, IMHO.
