From what I gather, these video clips and webpages are posted by people who seem justifiably tired of and frustrated at the pervasive notion -- held even by many Jews -- that the "Ashkenazi look" is "white European", For my part, I am also fed up with the Ashkenazi Jews who get dismayed when they find out that I am of Ashkenazic extraction but I dislike Yiddish and do not like to use it. We had the typical Sedar plate hid the Matzah etc. And made it fun for the young children let them participate with prayer and songs to keep them interested. There have been studies with the conclusion that Ashkenazi, Sephardi and Mizrahi Jews share common genetic origins and all of them have significant amounts of shared Middle Eastern ancestry (which also corresponds with the historical formulation that Jews are descendants of the Israelites from the Levant area). Actually, Ashkenazi and Sephardi Jews are closely related genetically. So these things aren't really a matter of "personal opinions". They're a matter of facts based on research and studies.

Jews are beautiful people with beautiful mind ,like every God creations. I envie their success, work ethic and the strong bounding they have for their own. When I was 11-12 years old, I was a very funny child. There was a beautiful Jewish girl that always laugh at my antics, my jokes. She was the smartest in the class but she you wouldn't know that she exist because so silent. She was always in front of the class, near the blackboard and the teacher. It was the first moment that I fell in love but I never could tell her, i move up class then she disapeared. Gone, she moved to Israel with her family. I feel Being Jewish is an act. I mean it is being active versus theatrical pretend. You are Jewish by engaging and not by being passive. Adam- in Seattle, being jewish is synonymous with being Sephardic. Pikes Place has a long history as being the Jewish (Sephardic) market place . In Philadelphia- a large and older Sephardic population exists. This is is meant to suggest that there is a good size Sephardic population- they tend to be quieter. And would you consider Chassidic or Orthodox- Askenazai? I would hope some of My fellow Italkim ahd Mizrahim would speak up as well.
