In 2015, the body of an unidentified young woman turned up on the side of an Oklahoma highway. Her name remained a mystery for a year until investigators finally found the family looking for their missing daughter. Sadly, it was young Veneranda Flores. She had entered the cab of a truck at the Casino. A truck that was being driven by a monster.

My Dad was a truck driver for over 40 Year's... He passed away 2 Year's ago. He told us prostitutes would wake him up he would tell them to leave . My Dad didn't want no part of that ... Tired of state and federal government covering for their own, and going extremely light on people like this, yet if you even try to speak up and call it out, you become the persecuted. No more wrist slaps for murderers. This is premeditated. Premeditation only takes mere seconds. Enough is enough. Laws are for the law abiding today. It seems as though the rest are doing whatever they'd like with little consequence.

I agree with you what and how did this pig of a man . 12 yrs is like a slap on the wrist. Oh the family I feel so sorry that happened and to this young lady . My dad was a over the road trucker for 50 yrs or long haul when he would drove in a sleeper. Such a sad story

This just makes me sick. I never thought about it until this episode, but I think this is typical with our "justice" system. There were two boys convicted of murdering my nephew. One got 30 years in 1994 and was out on parole in 2010 (16 years), and the other guy got 40 years and was out on Parole in 2013 (19 years). RIP to this beautiful girl and God bless her family. It is a life sentence for them, but they are not alone and even though justice wasn't served for her here on earth, I know for sure it will be somewhere else one day ❤💐

A very close friend of my daughters died by the hands of a drunk driver. Two days after the guy got out of prison, he was killed by a drunk driver. A family that was killed by a drunk driver, the man was also killed by a drunk driver, two days after he was out of prison. May this man have the unfortunate event after coming out of prison by Veneranda. I believe spirits have that ability to get the revenge they want on the piece of filth that killed them.

The justices system is always in favor of the criminal,never the victim 😢. When you hear that someone that did horrible things to people get life in prison,you realize they only serve a small portion of that sentence and they are back on the streets. That’s why you have so many reoffenders

No doubt. If you get a 15/20 life, it's not life and you're going to end up serving maybe 6-8 with good behavior and classes. Especially if you score low on the prior criminality score card they use for sentencing guidelines. Oh and you can get a free degree btw. While I'm in favor of education and rehabilitation, some crimes are just too repugnant. This country is losing its way. Tired of the wrist slaps for premeditated murder and make no mistake, it is premeditated. Only takes a few seconds to become so. Sad. Rip.

This resting place is natural, rough and beautiful in it's own way. Comfortable to me. Reminds me of my cabin, which is really an old 1960's trailer parked in the woods with an outhouse and snakes living under the floor (they keep the rats and mice away). Love both places.

I almost smirk, almost, when I hear the outrage in your voice, Ron. You and I are of the same generation. When someone in our day and age had their life taken, we were and are now, devastated by the travesty and injustice. This generation treats murder as a normalcy. What's another life to them? Nothing. I seen this story and it brought back my feelings on how some people get away with murder. My brother Steve was a cab driver in Chicago in 1988 when murdered after dropping off his fare he was waiting for her to get inside the apt. door when 3 guys stopped him and pulled out a gun wanting his money and watch. The cab was still in drive and it moved forward and they shot him twice in the chest and he bled out and died there. American most wanted did a tv program on this. After months of police investigation each were caught what to trial. They were all served less than half there sentence. By 2012 they all out for good behavior.... No justice for his wife and children and family l think of Steve Ofen as a great brother who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.
