Yes, me too. My kids think I'm wierd. I especially love mausoleums and the pictures on gravestones. I live in Illinois about an hour away from Mt. Carmel where Ron often goes. My great, great grandparents are burried there along with some of their children, they had 14. But it is only marked with a huge monument with their last name Christopher. They and I are off 100% Italian descent. Their real last name was Christophero. Alot of the Italian immigrants shortened their last name when they arrived at Ellis Island to hide their Italian heritage because they would be looked down upon and ridiculed.

I think Faces of the Forgotten has rapidly acquired some of the highest production values and best human interest content on KZbin. Your technical skills are remarkable, given the relatively short time you've been uploading. Forty years ago it cost tens of thousands of dollars to do your 'swoop down to the mausoleum' camera shot. It was seem-less, from drone to ground! Thank you Ron, for your hard work, in depth research, professional filming and unmissable stories.

Not only that but he has another very interesting channel about his bush piloting experiences, including the time a couple of years ago there vintage airplane (Grumman TBM Avenger N337VT) he was flying crashed over the White Mountains in AZ and he and his friend successfully bailed out by parachuting to the ground! (unfortunately, to this day they have been unable to find the beautiful, vintage aircraft) Even though he doesn't fly anymore there are so many of his interesting videos that are so beautiful and have such a calming effect to watch.

What a beautiful and unique cemetery. That demon was probably put into a paupers grave.....he don't deserve a nice resting place. But to your saying he didn't pay the price....I believe he did resting for hell. What a monster. But that first masaelem was too cool....must've been a midget. That second coffin looked to be missing a piece at the head. Great mystery to Adolph's sons resting place as to his wife's. Safe travels 💗🕊️

I will need to check it again, I missed what you seen. These old structures are offer grave robbed. There was one robbed not far from me with the woman's skeleton being thrown on the ground fairly recently that was on the news and I don't think police caught the suspects yet unfortunately. There was a discovery of two suspects doing a seperate case for satanic rituals recently also that was sad including from graves of soldiers.

That looked like a human skeleton inside that casket. In the old section of a cemetery in the county where I live, there's a mausoleum that at one time had a young woman placed under glass inside it. The story is her father couldn't bear to put her in the ground so he had her placed under glass in that mausoleum. But many years ago someone broke in to it and broke the glass so now they just sit caskets in there of her family. I was told there is about 4 caskets in there now with a big lock keeping people out.

This was so great. The creepy music made it even better with the drone. Will the cemetery tell you anything about the vault? You were just showing at the end. That was very unsettling to see the shape it was in. It almost appears as if someone did some grave robbing in there. I look forward to next Sunday. Thank you once again for all the research you did on this tragic story.

Thanks for showing these videos in your channel. They are like an eye opener for me. This episode is getting interesting and I enjoy listening to your story. The moment you opened up the iron cast cover to look into the tomb with a torch light, I felt like I was there with you and I really closed my eyes but also try to peep abit! Scary spooky yet curious of what is inside!!!!!!!

Heat, cold and water all plays a part. The mausoleum isn't sealed. It probably leaks very badly. So, between getting baked during a Chicago summer, frozen during a Chicago winter, plus corrosion, it's just a matter of time. Plus pieces of the roof falling in on it and causing stress on the coffin.

Good question. Probably the fact that it was made of iron and how iron rusts!

Such an amazing video and what a STORY!! I love to hear how the police investigated crimes during that time. What a shot in that mausoleum tho!!! Totally saw what looked like remains in the coffin like pelvic/hip bones... maybe a critter got in there and tried dragging that one bone out and it got wedged in the corner of that collapsed spot on the coffin. I wonder how old that mausoleum is and who it belongs to? Is there a way to find that out??? So neat, thank you, Ron!!

That first mausoleum was creepy but SO COOL. Looked to me that the coffin on the right had a glass face plate at one time.
