Facing 150 from bowling machines is different from facing a guy bowling 150 in real.. coz bowling machines le bowl will travel at 150 from Stump to stump... but a bowler bowling at 150 is the speed of the bowl after getting released from hand till the mid pitch only. If you would've watch recent cricket matches happened in Australia, you could've seen.. Mitchell starc bowling a bouncer... speed was 152kmph.. but the ball reached the batsman at 118kmph only.. but in machines it will be same speed.. very difficult to play.. even intl cricketers play with 140 only in machines

@@SoonaPaana36 tbh neither of them are easy to play cause when speed of the ball reduces drastically on slow pitches batsman will be committed to the shot by then and will mistime it.. batsman will be more comfortable with equal pace even if it's more but yes as u said speed doesn't reduce in bowling machines that's why u mostly won't see batsmen practising with bowling machines they will mostly face throwdowns or bowlers and it will not be beneficial facing bowling machine..

When you play in nets or in consisted area even 130 speed also feels like 145.. Actually while playing match you can tackle 140-148 ball. I won't say easy but with that environment you can manage.. But in nets Because of psychological issue it feels difficult (I said it based on my experience) Also in pitch ball bounces low and absorbs some of the energy.. but in cement pitch like this it's Newton's third law.. You have to consider lots of factors before saying it's easy or difficult

@@vivekbhanse9169 bro the vibes in nets are very bitter than the match vibes in match we can takle but in nets it seems like a rocket and if got hit by ball even once in nets the vibes are really dangerous i my self experienced this first i got hit on chin nd git 4 stitches then i started playing with thrower 110..120 and again i got hit on my ribs but still i have guts to play and tackle that speed in nets and in match easily

He did, usually on batting friendly pitches. Not many did that say in Australia or south Africa . Maybe in India where the pitches are dead paratha pitches designed to aid the batsman

The speed of the ball reduces by the time it reaches the batsman. On TV we see only the speed at the time of release, the ball loses its pace in mid-air and loses another 10-15 km/hr after hitting the pitch. A bouncer bowled at 150 km/hr would be reduced to 120-125 km/hr by the time ball reaches the batsman. There is a day and night difference between facing a bowling machine and facing a real human.

@Alexxx Sharma that's not entirely true, the main reason is the boundry's are much much smaller that the 80s, plus the bats they use arr bigger that combined with the power play rule all work massively in the batsmens favour

There are 2 things. First of all - these are synthetic balls which comes very fast on after pitching so 150kmph with this ball is very fast. Second - its a cemented pitch so the ball comes off with pace on cemented pitch..

Ball will skid through mat wicket and on top of tat mat is placed over cement so obviously ball is coming faster ,in turf wickets ball slows down after pitching so it will come bit slower.
