Facing A Piece Of Steel Using The Milling Attachment On A 6 Inch Craftsman Metal Lathe

In this video I show how I use the small milling attachment vise to hold the work piece while I face the surface using a 3/8" end mill on a Craftsman 6 Inch Metal Lathe. To do this operation the cross slide must move almost full travel as the work piece I am facing is 3-1/4" long. The new power feed I made for the cross slide is quite useful during operations like this.
