Thank you! Our transformation completely depends on the mode of operation with the emotions and thoughts. The first of all we can't change our emotions but we can redirect they from outside to inside. As a result of constant redirection of emotions we can become more or less dispassionate person. And it is good to replace the negative thoughts to positive thoughts by means of changing our frame of reference.

Is there such a thing as a negative or positive thought? I question that . When there is a " bad " thought (with all its "bad" feelings and so on ) aren't you already affected by it ? Which means you're IT , now when im resisting it then only do i judge and so on
@mulen-x8u9 сағат бұрын
@@Jayys647 As a rule the roots of "bad" thoughts are fear, doubt and self-justification (protection of ego) whereas "good" thoughts are based on love, pure of heart and justification of others.

@@mulen-x8u What is the Ego ?
@Jayys6478 сағат бұрын
Do you see the Ego or the Me or the Self as something apart from you ? Or IT is you ! There is only fear if i allow time to resolve it , if i have no time actually to resolve it then not having time to resolve it , RESOLVES IT .

@@Jayys647 Ego is an emotional, psychic, linguistic and cognitive construct produced by various social groups, ideology and culture. It is a very difficult to reject these shields from our true Self, from our Being. Anyway every prisoner dreams to escape from prison.

I love the image of the screen and film that you often use. As for me, I imagine myself as an underwater current. If the current stops, so do I. I don’t control it. I struggle with embracing neti neti. I am not this, I am not that. It creates a sense of duality: if I am not this, then I am separate from it. I don’t know how to dissolve into the ocean. It seems it’s not my decision to make.

Remove all your ideas about the world, from the world, especially the last one (whichever one that is). You will see what remains is Bliss and Light.

You don't need to dissolve in ocean, because YOU ALREADY ARE the ocean. You just have to recognize that

The Smith/Lear metaphor is dangerously misleading. You can never be happy all the time.Our whole ego problem is our delusion and childish dream of a life where we finally arrive. Where life is finally smooth sailing. A life of certainty, risk free decisions, safety, pure love, grandiose personal validation, and all the unrealistic conditions that don't exist in the real world. As the metaphor goes: When God knocks, We shout No ! not now, I'm busy solving my huge problems

So are you saying the goal of any kind of psychological comfort is the beginning of our troubles ?
@awakenotwoke79499 сағат бұрын
@@Jayys647 The goal of ending of psychological suffering is a natural survival reaction. But the solutions we seek are misguided by dualistic, polarized, either/or, black or white demands. We stubbornly resist the paradoxical reality of life: Both are true. It is unpredictable with its ups and downs, its success and inevitable failures, gains and losses, defeats and disappointments etc. We tend to defiantly hold onto the utopian notion that when I know when finally get rid of this, and get that, Life will be great! Giving up all those ideas and unrealistic goals is very painful indeed. It has been likened to The Dark Night of the Soul. A quote I like: Enlightenment is free. But it will cost you everything.

Happy in spirituality is not like pleasure, inside a person. True happiness, joy or bliss are the Light in which the world appears. It’s the space in which a life is lived.

I don’t care for the questioner’s using terms and words that seem repeated without understanding. Feels like a child trying to sound grownup.

Interesting those that lack realisation have no compassion either. Don't judge, observe. Then move onto unconditional love. Accept what is happening and let go. X

Michael Singer, author of Untethered Soul, would say you have a disturbance you need releasing. It’s a blockage that gets hit whenever something bothers you. Emotions are nothing but blocked energy due to a thinking. Once you release it, the flow of energy returns to your body without obstruction and you can experience freedom and peace. As long as you are feeling disturbance, you have a blockage. Letting go of all thoughts and feelings prevents such blockages. I have found over time that this method works better for me in staying in my being than trying to get close to the thoughts and feelings or examining them for prolonged periods. Attention keeps them alive.
