@MacksValue I have gotten to where I only play K8 suited or better and only K10 off and it has saved me a lot of money. Poker is the greatest patience game I have ever played. If you really wanna win at it. You must be very selective on what and when you play in hands.

I think queen ten of spades hand is fine as played! I do think your bluff bet sizing should have been a little bigger because you’re giving him a great price to call at that sizing but still a good spot in a 1/3 game for a bluff. Not sure that works in higher stakes where players under stand value and pot odd better
@jamesont229 ай бұрын
I love your fold on the straight hand. Especially at 1/3 stakes that’s winning poker! Like you said at lower stacks river raises are just very rarely bluffs into multiple way pots

@@jamesont22I agree. I mean knowing it's low stakes it's a very trivial fold. But at the same time in the moment you just want to win the pot. But it's saving so much money to just fold. Turn raise is almost always the nuts. And a river raise is ALWAYS the nuts lol. That's the saying

K5s hand is definitely interesting. I would just fold pre being out of position to a 6x raise ($17) multiway. Maybe heads up to a smaller raise $10 or $12 you could call, but I would just fold preflop. I think river is an easy fold too. Like you said, those river raises are just soooo underbluffed at low stakes. All of his bluff combos, he would have likely bet flop with, like AsKx etc. And if you think anyone at 1/3 is ever turning AA with A of spades into a bluff lmao that just isn't happening.
@MacksBet289 ай бұрын
I agree just in the moment you don't want to be bluffed. Obviously it's an easy fold I'm theory but I don't think in the moment anyone just gonna snap fold

Yoo what up from Moco MD! I think your hindsight analysis on the AJ hand is probs right; only gonna get called by better but I think the raise in the moment makes sense after he only leads out for 40. The Q10 one I liked the raise a lot after he bets the same amount as flop but I was astonished he folds QQ there. Very nitty or afraid of monsters. Real nice fold on the K5 wow way to take your time on it AJ hand I think maybe a bet on the turn could’ve been nice as a feeler bet to see where you’re at Nice vid glad I stumbled upon it

Yessir many videos up and many coming. I agree with all your points. The second aj hand tho. What hands would i target for value?
@Blase219 ай бұрын
Probably only 10s tbh so probs not worth it in the end. But it could be a spot for a semi bluff kind of bet, w the increase of equity getting a gutshot to go w the pair and nut flush draw

It sucked to fold you know. But to me your skill as a player is making big folds not calls. It's way harder to fold a strong hand but when you know people don't bluff there close to ever in 1/3 just gotta fold. It hurt my heart in the process tho lol

because of the weird stack to pot ratio, I think jamming all in on the river once you make broadway is fine. I don't think AQ would fold but maybe that's the only hand that will pay you off that isn't beating you.

@captaintrips61159 ай бұрын
I am no pro, but since you were asking for feedback. The raise with broadway is mandatory, you could easily get called by just trip Q’s. I wouldn’t call the raise with Q-T suicidal, but I think you are getting called more times than not in that situation…..luckily not that time.
@MacksBet289 ай бұрын
Thank you. You're opinion is still valid I agree with you on the Broadway hand but you know sometimes we don't do the things we know we should. And if he's a thinking player I think the qt bluff gets through alot more. But at 1/3 people be married to overpairs

The river raise was an over play of QT, not a bluff because you thought your opponent was weak. If you were trying to get two pair to fold by pretending to have a set of Ts, it would be a bluff (and a bigger raise). Great vlog.
@MacksBet286 ай бұрын
@markhellie6837 was not an overplay. Was a bluff because of his small rivwr sizing which usually in low stakes is an unsure hand.
