Man as a Bahamian student pilot myself , ive never really appreciated the beauty and landscape of my home island until i recently started my flight lessons. Btw steveo is a huge inspiration showing me that i"ll be at his level or even better someday. So keep up the excellent content especially Bahamas flying.

Thanks for taking me down memory lane, it's been years since I was in Bimini. Best diving in the world. I can't believe how much more there is on those 2 islands. None of those resorts were there back then. And back then you could go there and come back without a passport.

Big thumbs up Steveo. I know it's a lot of work putting these vids together but you do it so very well and it's much appreciated. I have as many hours under water (PADI) as PIC (ASEL) for many decades. My two favorite things. THANKS for sharing. BTW, Small Hope Bay Resort on Andros is highly recommended to spruce up your diving skills. It's like Diving University. These are serious divers with a huge variety of diving experiences available. Deep dives, wall dives, drift dives and it's a family-oriented place to simply "detach."

Good video Stevo! I've done the Shark encounters several times when Walkers Cay was still in operation. it was an open water dive encounter with at least 50 or so Sharks of all kinds. Great adventure when they would swim by with a huge chunk of frozen bait in their mouths and a lot of action when the Sharks would hit the bait ball. Great fun.

Very cool seeing the Bimini from the air and seeing the sharks. I am surprised you do not have a lightweight pair of chocks for the two main gear so you do not have to use rocks to chock the wheels

You are a TRUE professional pilot, all the way.. I think the TBM 850 is one SWEET aircraft. Beautiful too... I saw the video of the newer model and it's all the best of the 850 plus upgraded avionics and more. I WANT one!!!

Man Stevo I just want to say thank you also from someone whom has viewed your videos from early on. They truly help with my training and I think this is also a great way to help with currency for those who are not flying as much as they want. It’s a great way to keep your head in the cockpit when you don’t have the time or money. I feel it really helps with safety. If you can imagine maybe somebody with low IFR time that has a rating but maybe hasn’t had the money to go fly every week. These videos allow us low time pilots to stay in the cockpit and keep us thinking about either training or what we should be doing IE checklists and just all around what we should be doing in the cockpit.. I think this is just a great safety and training method. It’s a great add on to my or anyone else’s training. Radio phraseology in the past was learned by doing over and over live. This gives me a chance to rewind and hear what I should and can say. I remember I had a really hard time at controlled airports when I was just learning to transit and land in them. It was really scary and confusing.. I wish I had this back then. Anyway Stevo thanks for taking the time to do this. You have helped many people and I am one. Thank you sir. Michael KLZU.

@20:25, the resort with the terra cotta colored roofs are called Bimini Sands. My wife and I run an ocean conservation non-profit out of Tampa Bay and we go to Bimini quite frequently to do shark research. That's where we always stay. They are privately owned, and many are used as Air BnB rentals. Great place! Hightly recommend it!
