Thank you for actually posting trail content! Love it!

Haha what do you mean? I try to get at least one or two trails videos a month. Or do you mean like no one else does?

@@quicksendtaco yea! Not many people keep posting trail content. I just discovered your channel and really appreciate the videos!
@quicksendtacoАй бұрын
I definitely agree, during Covid those were the videos I enjoyed watching most so I really try to do as many as I can! But a lot of guys have definitely started doing them less and less.

Awesome vid Nick! Though I wasn’t there I can see some of the butt pucker upper areas. That and rock garden worth the ride to that gorgeous lake. Btw I’d like to barrow Sebastian as a videographer for my next trail adventure! He killed it!!!!

@@frankkruger8981 Thanks for watching bro! Right?! I really have been loving getting out there with Sebastian I’m low key trying to get him to get into an offroad rig as well.

Nah… this trail is a cakewalk. I’ve done this trail in a 96 2wd Dodge Dakota and did it in my 2012 4runner TE in without using 4wd.
@quicksendtaco17 күн бұрын
Never driven a Dodge Dakota before but that's cool! Did your 4Runner not have 4WD, why did you opt to not use it if you did? I didn't see a single non 4X4 out there that day.
@joey195713 күн бұрын
Mine is stock and has 4wd but I just decided not to use it. Happy trails. 🤙🏻

Are you happy with the big 33s or do you wish you went to 35s?
@quicksendtacoАй бұрын
I’m happy with these tires technically 34s haha I don’t plan to go to 35s at any point in the future. I feel like I get out and do just as much with these than guys and girls on 35s. 35s definitely look best tho!

Cool trail, but as others may have mentioned, maybe less dangerous and more difficult?
@quicksendtacoАй бұрын
I’d argue less difficult more dangerous the risk factor of the cliff drop off is what makes me think that.

@@quicksendtacoyeah the exposure certainly can play heads games with us!

RAD VIDEO: Do you have a radio when you go out there? what happens if you get stuck?
@quicksendtacoАй бұрын
Thank you sir! I have 3 radios in the truck at all times but I’m working on wiring up a permanent higher power one soon!
@blahbaconblahАй бұрын
I have punctured 2 tires in one trip on that trail. You walk down until you can contact help. Its only 4 miles, and you can just go straight over the mountains if you want. The only immanent danger out there is exposure.
@quicksendtacoАй бұрын
It’s not 4 miles flat out though could take an hour or more one way to walk but yes you are 100% correct. I’d like to be more prepared haha

@@quicksendtaco Laurel lakes hiking trail from Sherwin creek to Laurel is less than 4 miles. I climbed in 3 years ago in February. Full gear and snow shoes. It only took us about 9 hours up and 6 back out the next day. I would imagine without snowshoeing through, it would take half that, and if you are there in the dry season, there are always campers in Laurel Creek that will give you a ride down the rest of the way.
@GoSlowTacoАй бұрын
You really out here calling laurel lakes the most dangerous trail in the eastern sierras? That’s a joke right?
@quicksendtacoАй бұрын
It’s definitely up there with some of the crazier Jeep trails up there from a risk factor standpoint point. Could be a joke to some haha. Same could be said about Black Bear and that’s just the risk factor other than that it’s equally as chill.
