The jedi that got shot by her clone troopers actually was reacting to a threat before they shot her. She was looking around to see what the threat was and didn’t think it’d be the people she spent the last three years fighting alongside and who she trusted a great deal :(( it’s actually pretty sad

I had more or less assumed that the reason Obi Wan didn't finish off Anakin was because he couldn't bring himself to do it. This was a man that he had raised and saw as a brother, and it's a lot different to deal a killing blow while they're literally unarmed than when you're defending yourself.

I think the cannon reason is because Palpatine arrived just before Obi One walks away from Anakin. I think he's ship is visible and therefore Obi One leaves.

The point of a lightsaber is so that you don't have to use the force to directly destroy life. If you use the force (cosmic) to destroy the force (living) you get the dark side, aka, psychic radiation, unless you're extremely disciplined or a Vaapad user.

The dark side doesnt mean doing something "evil" in the normal sense. It just means using the force to directly harm someone or for selfish gain.

A few things of note: Not everyone is as strong in the force as Windu! Especially bc his style of fighting, vapad, actually taps into the dark side a bit. What’s metal about him is that he’s able to come back from those moments. Most Jedi would turn dark after that. Same goes for sensing order 66. Bc it was so sudden and bc the clones didn’t really change intention all that much (they always had a “good soldiers follow orders” mentality) it was too late by the time most Jedi realized. But SOME particularly strong Jedi did, like Yoda, Jarro Tarpal, and even Ashoka Tano.

I love the training montage they show, with Anakin drilling Ahsoka. I would have loved it if they had made it a thing where he was having nightmares of her being gunned down from all sides, so he puts her through this training regimen until she starts succeeding, and the dreams stop. Gives him credence to think that he can change the future, and trip right into causing it himself

@@RollingCalf Palpatine's force lightning certainly isn't, as stated in the video Windu got shocked so hard you could see his skeleton, his god damn skull was visible through his fucking head and you think that's weak as hell? look what it did to Palps' face, it reduced Luke Skywalker to a pleading mess, killed Vader (and yes I am aware Vader's suit was made to be specifically weak to force lightning). Hell, pay close attention to when Windu is reflecting the lightning and you can see it bending his lightsaber with the pressure. Yoda was shown to stop Dooku's lightning with ease but struggled with Palpatine's so yeah I'm gonna go with not weak at all.

It's explained that it's difficult to crush things and jedi were not allowed to crush living things to the point of death, windu given his power could have easily killed grievous with that crush, but it is not the jedi way and could have gotten him expelled from the order entirely.

The thing with Battlefront 2, is that now after years, they removed all the microtransactions and the game is actually good. However nobody wants to play it outside of a small core audience because EA fucked themselves so hard at launch, that we'll likely not get a new Battlefront Game, and we'll have to settle with more shitty regular Battlefield without any spaceships or laser guns.

Solution: everybody just plays the OG Battlefront 2, from the PS2 generation. That game was perfect. I still play it after all these years. And, unlike the newer Battlefront games, there's no additional payments anywhere in the game. It's a "the better you are at the game, the better equipment you can get" sort of situation. And, while playing the campaign, or Galactic Conquest, or anything like that, you can spawn as a hero character after killing X amount of enemies. Which is nice.

order 66 makes a LOT of sense. It was well thought out Most the Jedi were spread out in warzones or campaigns or hostile worlds or on shipped FILLED WITH CLONES who were trained and based off Mandolorians, famed for their SEVERAL WARS AGAISNT THE JEDI. Aayla and the ones caught by surprise were the first. By the time people like Yoda and Jaro felt the wave of death and darkness spread out and reach them THOUSANDS of highly powerful force users where dead. And of that we know of less than 100 survivors of over 10,000 By the time of Rebels and Andor we know of 5 surviving "Jedi"; Yoda, Kenobi, Ahsoka, Kanan, and Ezra, two masters, an expadawan, a padawan turned jedi knight, and a kid turned padawan. OH and then by the end of a new hope Kenobi and Kanan are dead, Ezra is MIA, and Ahsoka was SUPPOSED TO DIE but was saved by the lotus gods and Ezra through fucking time travel and had to hide herself for the entire galactic civil war to prevent causing a paradox. Leaving Luke and Yoda... That's PRETTY SUCCESSFUL We also now you of one other survivor past ROTJ and we still don't know if Ezra is alive or if Thrawn killed him.

What gets me with the dismemberment is the early installment weirdness that never got edited out of A New Hope in the Special Editions. Namely, the fact that the very first severed limb in Star Wars history was still shown to have bled from the wound when every dismemberment since then cauterized the wound.

Not strictly speaking, there are several times where a lightsaber doesn't cauterize, the Tauntaun being the best example. Sometimes they also appear to leave cuts similar to normal blades such as when Dooku incapacitates Obi-Wan in AOTC & Kylo getting his face sliced. I know these aren't dismemberments but the point stands. But with that being said it's simply to unclear to see if Luke's hand gets clauterized but when Vader's hand gets chopped off in ROTJ it simply looks like a blade has done it with no burning going on at all.

A theory is since the alien looked like a spider it's circulatory system worked similarly to real spiders. They basically have big blood sacks rather than thin blood vessels, far harder to cauterize
