2:06 - that’s what makes me roll my eyes at people who try to scaremonger about how acidic something like coke is; they point at it cleaning a penny overnight and go ‘see, what do you think that’s doing to your insides?’ and I can only think ‘but stomach acid is far more acidic than coke, if anything, drinking coke makes your stomach contents less acidic’.

At 2:35 it is implied that pH scale stops at 0, with it being the ultimate acid. It doesn't end there. No just HCl (hydoclorich acid), the stuff our stomach acid made of, when concentrated reaches a pH of -1 and below. And that is rookie numbers. Let me Introduce: Super acids. They go well below pH of -10. On a logarithmic scale. Well they had to invent a pH equivalent that accounts for other factors, which means that the pH equivalent is wonky especially the further below you go from 0.

Texas has this ren fair called sherwood that I used to go to many many times, usually half of the season I was there, and every time I went I always made sure to watch the bird show. I don't care how many times I've seen them or how many times I heard the same facts, I never got tired of seeing those majestic birds, my favorite easily being Igor the vulture. He wouldn't fly like the others, he was much more happy waddling around like a goofball to try and find turkey legs and popcorn in the stands, and it always made my day better

Also there is a vulture in marvel comics that is known for eating. The vulture in spiderman noir is named that because he's a cannibal who eats the bodies of those that are killed by I think it was Norman Osborn to get rid of the evidence

The other reason you don't bird rice/bread is that it expands in the stomach. THAT doesn't kill them, but of they ready to much to often they don't enough nutrient. Then they get "Angel Wing" which is a horrific deformity caused by malnutrition.

In terms of the brushing teeth after throwing up thing its a double edged sword as far as I know from what I've heard from dentists about stuff like acidic drinks. Brushing your teeth would get some off but it would also smear an amount over an even wider area than it was before. So it probably varies on a case to case basis what is the better thing to do.

You should rinse first. The dangerous part about brushing after exposure to acidic food/drinks is that the enamel of your teeth can be temporarily weakened, making it possible for the brush to do further damage to the teeth. You don’t need to have mouthwash on hand, either; a little bit of toothpaste in your mouth, gargled with water, works to clean things safely while you wait for it to be safe to brush.

Rice is bad for birds, but its specifically about pigeons iirc, and not because its unhealthy either. The issue is that pigeons dont stop eating until theyre completely full. Rice expands in moisture, so if a pigeon has gorged itself its running the risk of the rice congealing in its gut and cause blockage.

Yeah almost certainly not, unfortunately poison is still as effective on vultures as anything else as seen with the vulture declines in India and the lead poisoning that partially lead to the near extinction of the California Condor.
