Honestly, what could be a better final role for Orson Welles than the voice of a planet-devouring god-robot?

The madlad this man is! This guy reinacted the first Martian attack from "The War of the Worlds" on the radio, convincing the entire East Coast of the US that it was real, and he did it as a friggin' Halloween prank!

That didn't really happen, it's just this urban myth that has passed down the generations, caused by the newspapers that didn't like radio.

I used to play the radio drama “The Hitch Hiker” which starred Orson Welles to my eighth grade reading class. They were mesmerized by it. He really had a gift for getting his audience in the palm of his hand. We had great discussions after listening to it. He does a great monologue at the beginning.

Personally, I love how you're not just presenting facts, and you're actually having some back in forth with Brad, and sometimes Josh. It feels like the type of conversations I would have with friends. Like a couple days ago, we spent like 30 minutes arguing about how the Flying Nimbus and the Devilmite Beam from Dragon Ball would not judge you exactly the same. xD

Orson Welles didn't die, he expanded so that he phased into the Transformers G1 continuity and became a primeval planet god.

For all my life I’ve been trying to do a unicron impression since I’m a bloody teenager and the only thing I know Orson Welles was in was the 1986 Transformers Movie and I tried to recreate his voice and I almost got it down then my voice changed and for some reason my voice getting deeper got in the way of me doing the deepest voice in all of Hollywood same thing with Optimus prime where I could do it as a kid but not as a teenager

Also worth remembering that Welles produced, co-wrote, directed, and starred in Citizen Kane at age 25, and it was his first feature film. I watched it two days ago, and that makes 37-year-old me wonder what the heck I've been doing all these years!

He directed and starred in Citizen Kane. He did not in fact write Citizen Kane. He was INVOLVED in the writing of it, but there's been a lot of contention about how much of it, and much of it was reportedly written by Herman Mankiewicz. He was not 6' 3" either. He was by all accounts (including his army physical) between 6' and 6' 1".

Citizen Kane based on Orson Wells personality not Hearst who was real example of megalomaniac. Story when Orson Wells used ambulance to drive in between radio stations with alarm sounds, that is real story everyone hates gridlocks. Orson Wells is best Bond villain who refuse to be Bond villainy that is biggest mistake of movie industry.

I honestly am not super fond of citizen Kane, like it’s alright... but I don’t understand why everyone says it’s the best... like The Godfather, The Lord of the Rings, Ferris Bueler, Singing in the Rain, Merry Poppins.... North by Northwest and several other oldies.

Partly because of the cinematic and directorial innovations it created became the standard for the later movies you are comparing it to.

Please.... Orson welles came from an extremely wealthy family and despite not having "formal" filmmaking training he studied the arts, specially painting since he was a kid. Hence his understanding of light, composition, etc. He was no fckin god. Just another rich kid.
