I kind of like the guns from 'The Mask' that he whips out of his pockets after they shoot him up but you know if they actually worked. On the other hand I like the CMP150's from 'Perfect Dark' for the N64. Got to love a dual wieldable burst fire hand gun that can hold a target lock and tracking even through perfect cloaking. Also the Lawgiver from 'Judge Dredd' is pretty sweet as well. I do of course like the needler from the 'Halo' franchise. And I love the Super Shredder from 'Fortnite: Save The World'. Honestly who doesn't like a Cluster Sniper? Let's not forget the POV gun from 'The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy', not sure I would ever use it but it sure would be nice to win an argument once in a while.

The caster gun from the anime Outlaw Star. Its a magic tech gun in a low magic scifi drama. The protag at one point basically shoots a micro black hole from it. Adding that the most powerful caster shells are hard to make and have to be made basically by an almost extinct cast of space wizards. The powerful ones also have a drawback on the user.

That "500 years ago" line from K is easily one of my favorite lines in this movie, maybe even just in all movies. Just something about the way he delivers the "imagine what you will know tomorrow" just hits me with a kind of child like wonder that I can't explain. And I know the first time I saw this movie I was like 5 years old.
@savvivixen8490
@savvivixen8490 Күн бұрын
I feel like that line was a defining moment in my development. It helped me recognize that however rigid someone is in their beliefs about reality (whether faith-driven or science-driven), we as humans are constantly learning new things about what has ALWAYS been... We are fallable humans building knowlege based on what other fallable humans have laid down. We're always discovering, rediscovering, corrupting, correcting, destroying, exploring, systemizing.... all throughout time and space. I think that is AMAZING, and something that should be kept in mind as we and everything else on (and off) our planet continues to evolve! ❤

I don't think Agent J would have been harmed by the cricket shooting it one handed. During all the movies, he pretty much has the durability of a cartoon character, because it's funnier to have a giant bug use him as a giant feather duster unharmed than what happens to everyone else, which is being cut in half (vertically or horizontally). In every movie of the series, the Big Bad has the power to instagib any non-Will Smith character, but he's nigh-invulnerable 😆

In one of the books, Agent L (who was the coroner lady) actually explains to J how to fire it. Then she chastises him for not reading the weapon manuals for his guns, then pops a shot off with it before walking off. At that point, J had been firing it for hours, and had the range filled with mattresses to absorb the impact. Can't remember if it was "The Grazer Conspiracy," or "The Green Saliva Blues."

Shuriken Catapult from 40k Eldar. Not just because it is such a try hard gun from 1980's British people, trying to envision a futuristic exotic alien weapon, but because what later editions made it is absolutely terrifying. 100 rounds a second, of razor sharp discs, it's the ultimate sci-fi Spray and Pray. And in the fiction it may as well be a water pistol.

I read in a MIB novel several years back that Agent L (Dr Weaver) read the instruction manual to the Noisy Cricket and figured out there's a way to avoid the recoil based on your firing stance when using it.

It’s never specified which beings it can’t kill, with the exception of Archangels. But I think Death, and maybe the other Horsemen, would be one of them.

Coolest fictional weapon for me: the Possible Sword from China Mieveille's "The Scar". When it's turned on and the wielder uses it, it simultaneously adds possible other strikes to the attack. It's actually more effective in the hands of someone who's never used a sword than someone highly trained in traditional swordplay.
