As an older blader, I will admit that I don't really care about how my liner and boot feels. I can get used to any of that. I'm more concerned with how my frames and wheels feel. I prefer to build my setup from the ground up, but everyone is different. Thanks for the cool video guys.

I want to pick up a pair. My favorite carbons over the years were the Deshi Carbon. The USD Carbon felt different. Coincidentally riding Red Sam C's Aeons.

I'd be the first to buy... once they're aveilable here in Germany. I'm rockin' Seba CJ Carbons, but man I know why everybody's gutting these - darn good skates, but the built in liner is just "cheapofoam"... Deep insight on the V1s! Great video... And btw: I'm fifty years old, so "too old" is not an option!

Really wish I could get these, but getting them to the UK is impossible. Have you had a chance to use these for big wheel/wizard? How do they compare to the Seba CJs?

I have tried them on 80mm compass frames and they were ok... for me personally I would stick with seba for big wheels

With the stock liner laced all the way up with the 45 strap and the metal buckle down this skate had a lot of forward flex? Or did you tie them to the blue hole?

It does have a lot of forward flex... but that is by design. There is no way to significantly reduce the amount with out some sort of shim in the back of the skate. The intuition premium liner does a fairly good job but it is still noticeable. I have gotten used to it and I think I'm starting to prefer it with aggressive skating. Having good forward flex of the ankle can better help with balance and weight distribution.

Yep... so long as you don't go over 200 degrees F, it shouldn't cause any issues

not meant as an attack - just pure feedback to help you with your channel: just farrrrrrrr tooooooo much waffle. Nobody wants to hear a 50 minute talk on these. Like. Literally. NOONE. For you to be effective with youtube / social media: just nail it bro. Tell people up front what your thoughts are and THEN go into the detail. Otherwise you'll just lose people's interest. (Which is a shame because you cover some awesome detail). Be conscious of modern society's appetite / attention span 👍👍
