Looking good! 😎👍 Intuition liners might actually fill out the shell for you. Could be worth a try. That new ledge setup looks incredible. Having quarter pipes on both sides for max speed is ideal.

So are intuition liners more puffy than the faction liner? I thought intuitions we normally used for downsizing. So intuition liners in an already roomy shell would just compound the issue of slop.

@@longtermsquatter I find Intuitions incredibly stiff. I've tried them a few times now and I can't deal with all the support, it feels all kinds of wrong. I will say I've only tried the THEMtuitions and I found the second skins thinner than those and much more forgiving to skate. From how much a lot of people love them I think if you can adjust to the feeling they must be great though.

I'm just getting back into stair rails myself. The mental hurdle is the biggest challenge but once you get that first lock or fall out of the way it's not so bad. Good luck law

Cool. Your description of "pillowy" for the boot sounds good for me as well. My K2 Varsity have a soft feel that I would describe like that. Definitely considering these now.

Try them out with the USD7 soul plates like you did Roth the carbons 🔥 I recently got a pair of their new stock and OMG I lucked out on the size 10, it fits like a glove. The squishy foam padding in the rear heal locks my foot in without even doing up the laces and IMO is a comfier set up then the intuitions. (which was pretty damn good too)

K2 250cc was peak performance ledge skate for soul tricks. Modest sized soul, Teflon injected, round frame walls, flexy but secure… ugh, the good ol days, lol

Agree, at least w/ Fattys (never had 250cc). But could you farf on 250cc? It was near impossible on Fattys. Will likely make my faction souls thinner.

You can actually back royale much better and more solid than I. But on Mistrial I use that back royale foot to keep me on. I cannot back royale correctly or backside backslide..backside... yet after I lock into mistrial....I can sit on my backslide. Similar to negative Mistrial for me.

Think I might fall prey to the same issue with sizing as you, was going to order a us 10.5 (have 280mm feet so fall in that weird sizing uk10 foot but the conversions are always diffrent) but was out of stock. I did notice the liner size for the us10 was 280mm (am guessing this is outside liner size) and it has a neoprene front so bit of extra wiggle room? My only issue was maybe banging my toe at the end as their is a 5mm gap. But going by what you were saying with not much fwd lean I think sticking a slightly bigger shock absorber or in soul might solve this if I find it an issue. Thanks for the great videos always helpful 👍looking forward to more of them

As for the heel lift, what if you add another heel riser? Since they are so so flat, if you raise your heel inside the boot I think then you should be able to lock your heel in better when you lace up, and maybe eliminate the heel lift.

Thanks for another great video. I am interested how the heel lift works out for you with different liners. My size 11(10.5 liner) are on the way and I suspect that the size 10 boot may have been a better choice.

@@shawncarter253 have you skated the skates though? The factions are carbon fiber. U dont need a hight cuff if the boot is carbon fiber. Most carbon boots dont ha e a super high cuff. Also the higher the cuff the more restrictive it can feel especially when jumping. That's why I liked remz before they got sloppy. Freedom of f33t concept.

@@pouringblue7 I haven't yet and that's a fair point. Looking at the skate with an intuition liner, is much lower than what I'm used to riding. I like a more raised heel than most people ride. Just looking for an option if I buy.

@@pouringblue7 I finally skated the skates. Very comfortable out of the box. The cuff height with no raised heel is perfect. I didn't like the flat foot feeling. Forward flex felt floppy but manageable. Putting in bigger shock absorber would be ideal to raise the heel. If the heel is raised, the cuff would be too low because the cuff would ride lower on the shin and have less stability.

I really think skate companies should give the actual internal size of the skates as well as their recommended size so you can decide if you want to get a thinner liner and downsize. Those skates look good 👍🏻:edit Just looked and they do give the internal measurements for these skates.

This! It's crazy that some skates have nearly same shell size between 8-9 and 9-10 but only the liner changes. You think you have the right size, but just small foot in big shell with big liner. It's not a problem with integrated liner skates, shell and liner design it seems to be a problem. If we could just know the shell length then you could buy based on that vs. a liner which is more subjective.

Find a liner that fits your foot then find the smallest shell that fits the liner. Shame that info isn't available as far as I know

Measurements of the stock insole is another measurement that is perhaps the easiest to compare (not for shell fitting but comparing liner sizes between companies at least). Would be awesome to have the insole length and maybe width near front ball of foot - i.e. not ankle but up kinda near where the toes begin.
