Thank you for being honest, tho the new research regarding fillers should be mentioned, with how it lasts up to if not longer than 10 years and even expands and might migrate with time. Continuously massaging the filler into place is very important!
@AmiyaPrasadMD3 ай бұрын
Hi @northa3617, Migration of filler can be prevented by placing filler deeper, at the bone level, where it is held in place by the overlying muscle layer. You can refer to this video about it - kzbin.info/www/bejne/o6K1pKeYgciWhZY If hyaluronic acid filler lasts longer than expected, it can be dissolved. Dissolving filler is another procedure reliant on technique, and the expertise to reach filler in deeper tissue. Plz tell me the co was the cost of the prp for hair loss the highest it can cost so that I can save
@AmiyaPrasadMD5 жыл бұрын
Hi HANSARAJOO MULLIAH, I don’t administer PRP alone for hair loss because it has a limited effect on hair, usually just short-term hair growth. Also, the number of sessions needed does vary, and the longevity of results is unpredictable. TrichoStem™ Hair Regeneration is a PRP combination treatment where PRP is the activator of the main ingredient extracellular matrix by ACell. TrichoStem™ Hair Regeneration is a one-time treatment for most patients, and can last up to 5 years and beyond, depending on the aggressiveness of the hair loss pattern. You don't need repeat injections periodically, and many older TrichoStem™Hair Regeneration patients don’t use maintenance drugs like finasteride, but finasteride is a must for our younger male patients with very early and aggressive hair loss due to high DHT-sensitivity asTrichoStem™ Hair Regeneration is not a DHT-blocker. PRP injections for hair loss are needed indefinitely. Hair Regeneration patients can stop using minoxidil completely, or be weaned off it to prevent a sudden hair shed. The cost of the Hair Regeneration varies with the extent of treatment needed. However, at it’s full cost, it’s priced at about half of a single FUT hair transplant, or about a third of an FUE transplant performed in the US. Our offices are located in the USA in Manhattan, New York City which you can call at (212) 265-8877, Garden City, Long Island at (516) 742-4636, or Vienna, Virginia at (703) 356-1446. You can also reach us through www.prasadcosmeticsurgery.com, www.nyhairloss.com, or www.trichostem.com by filling out a contact form, and we will get back to you regarding price range. I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello sir. Is diluted sculptra good for undereye rejuvenation?? Is PRF better than PRP for skin improvement??
@AmiyaPrasadMD4 жыл бұрын
Hi, Sculptra triggers metabolic processes to create volume, so it's not as predictable as a filler, and may not be effective if diluted. Platelet-rich fibrin matrix is still PRP, but with added calcium chloride to make into a gel for slow release of healing and growth factors. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Hi. Thank you Dr Prasad. I have read that currently stem cells are being harvested from an individuals teeth. These undifferentiated stem cells can be grown and then banked cryogenically for future use in growing teeth, organs, etc. No baby umbilical cords involved. Maybe cosmetic applications will also be found. 😎 That would be nice!! We are an inch away from from the miraculous! Eight years ago, I was in your office and in the waiting room I chatted with a woman and her 11 yo daughter who had loss 80 percent of her hair. She was waiting to have a PRP treatment for hair loss. Just to say that I can vouch for Dr Prasad's forward thinking proactive approach. He is not pushy and he is a great listener. He is nit a salesman. He truly has the patient's interests uppermost.

Hi Angela Markopoyloy, "Stem cell therapy" is a general term, but it can include fat harvesting which is then refined, then injected to the treatment area. Mesotherapy is not practiced in the US, but they consist of vitamin injections, not fat. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Doc, I've been using a stem cell serum by AnteAge called AnteAgeMD. They use bone marrow stem cells and growth factors. Another doctor on YT claimed that stem cells derived from bone marrow cause inflammation in the skin and recommends adipose derived stem cells. However, the makers of AnteAge claim that the latter causes inflammation. I'm not a researcher so I don't understand beth much when reading studies about that. Can you clarify which of the two are good for the skin or if thru even do something to the skin at all?
@AmiyaPrasadMD3 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris King, I can't say which one is better because I don't use either in my practice. Use of the term "stem cells" are a common marketing gimmick. "Adipose derived" means taken from fat, and I don't find these particularly effective. Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, does have your own stem cells in it, but it also has wound healing and growth factors from your own blood, which is a more commonly accepted and proven treatment with stem cells. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Hi KZbin Oncologist, I'm not aware of the full extent, but I'm aware of the hype around stem cells that's not based on clinical evidence and consistency of results.
