That frame is so sick!! Love the amount of inside stuff he shows us!! Also got to meet Moeller in person here on the East Coast by far the best owner/rider/family man in the biz!! 👍🏻👍🏻

I love seeing a quality over quantity business! Esp a manufacturing in the USA company. And you run how you want to run it! Best way to live in my opinion.

Been riding a disc frame I had welded on for over a year now with no brace and no issues yet. Should be fine!

What’s quick release seat post clamp , salsa? on the Maddog also forget hydraulic Shimano brakes try TRP dual piston, cable, actuated disc brakes. You can use regular brake cables and a regular brake lever, and they are just as powerful way simpler to set up and deal with.

Tektro has come a long way in the past 10 years, but that's still a gross solution. I'll go with Magura if I want an improvement over Shimano.

I love these videos. Learning how old dropouts were made is super cool. Arn't all Cult products made in Taiwan?
@schlogman6 ай бұрын
Most brands are Taiwan made. sunday, wtp, bsd. It's become the industry standard and that's why s&m will always be the top core brand.

yah, great work guys. seems like one of the last/only American bmx bike makers. Have you thought about just doing direct mount ISO. get rid of the extra brake caliper mount, and just bolt the caliper directly to the frame. also chain stay mount is nice and tucked up in the frame.
@sn0fx6 ай бұрын
all I.S. require some sort of mounting plate or adapter so that doesn't solve the issue. You could design the POST MOUNT directly into the dropout would though and not use IS or an adapter, I'm assuming the added complexity wasn't worth it for a quality product long term.

New booze Cruz's slacker headtube.. makes ya need to run a shorter stem. Got a standard industries top load (48mm). ended up being too long haha. 36mm profile acoustic for the win hopefully. They don't make too many super short stems for 22.2 bars haha. Otherwise ya end up with the rudder steer feel. Unless it's the big bruisers? Haha. But naw.

I loke that taller seat tube !, more like old school bikes which I really miss. Om 52 now and don't have cricket legs to sit super low on these new bikes - even though they ride amazing , its just too low lol 😎👍

I agree the seat stay bracing is probably not needed, and it gets in the way of the chain tensioner on my WTP frame. But a postmount would make more sense nowadays as most calipers are PM and it looks a bit cleaner. Internal routing would be sick, but I don't see how that would work going around the seatpost on a steel frame. I guess I could route the cable trough the downtube and poke it out at the brakemount hole on my frame, that would be clean.
