Very Interesting. I know that some were made in Australia. So glad to see that these are still made here in the US. I'm a big fan of "made in USA". Glad to see that he's still doing 36 hole rims. 36h rims are getting harder to find. Thank you.

I wasn't sure about Velocity rims at first, but now I'm totally sold and going to place an order! Thank you so much for this video, love seeing the hand built process. Videos like this are very humanizing as to what work like this is all about!

Very cool video. I just mounted a pair of tires on my A23 rimmed wheels which will be going on a rebuild of a 1974 Viscount Aerospace GP. I didn't want to spend a ton of money but wanted nice wheels and after watching the video, I think these rims are exactly what I wanted.

I use to love Velocity when it was produced here in Australia. Unfortunately for us when the manufacturing shifted to the US the prices sky rocketed and the quality of the product dropped.

I really want to see products developed and manufactured in the United States, because we know that American bicycles are great in terms of design and quality. In my country, Brazil, there are only Chinese products. It's sad because they don't have quality. Long live the United States.

Small American factories always look bare bones compared to European and Asian workshops. I get that the skill of the workers may be good, but the cleanliness and organization is not impressive. Place needs a 5S program.

When Velocity were based in Queensland, Australia, I used to buy their rims all the time to build wheels in the shop I worked in. They were ok, but nothing special: they did the job. Now they're in the US, the last two rear wheels I built with them cracked at the spoke holes within 6 months, and I consider myself to be a careful wheelbuilder. I won't use Velocity any more.
@pocoapoco23 жыл бұрын
If they started using eyelets in their design they'd be an awesome rim. Of course that requires significantly more tooling to do so.
