Another great angler saying that ffs is going to burn itself out. I’m not jumping on the bandwagon and fishing the same way everyone else is. Never been my MO, another great show. I’ve only fished against Greg twice and beat him both times, lol. Sometimes it’s good to quit while you’re ahead, lol.
@bryanfranks632711 ай бұрын
Great show Dave, the Hack Attack is the man. I love is perspective on the FFS. I’m like him in that the natural instinct would be hard to beat for those who grow up with the FFS if they took it away. I don’t think FFS is going anywhere. The electronic companies put to much money in the industry. If older style fishermen will be willing to adapt to the FFS they could be better than those who grew up with FFS, because they can fish both ways more easily. #rockonmercer

The way Hackney explained his view on ffs was spot on. Your gonna see it on every tournament this year probably every tournament will be won on it look at what Fujita is doing right now on Toledo. It's just kind of sad that you HAVE to use it or your not even gonna be competitive. Of course if you don't like don't watch it.

I 100 % agree how do we keep these records from years past with all this. Baseball has Aluminium bats but they don't allow them in the pro's . Because it's to easy and they would have to change all those records. I feel like pros should be able to do it with less . I feel like it's takin the back boaters outa the local clubs in we will prolly see a decrease in that side of the sport .

Here is the bad part of FFS watching Hack staring at a screen is a sad day for the sport. It just isn’t the same period. I know you can’t stop technologically from progressing but bass fishing is going to not be the same period. Jig minnows being tossed around isn’t the same. We will regret it. I compare it to going to high fence deer hunt to a public hunt. The big buck in public means a whole lot more than knowing you are going out and are going to see big bucks sitting in a tree house and pick one of a dozen out to shoot. I love the whole hunt makes catching or killing so much more of a accomplishment. Love some Hack sad day seeing him watch a screen instead of flipping that jig up in the knarly stuff. Thanks Dave another great show

I absolutely love bass fishing to the point of it becoming an obsession and I can’t hardly bring myself to watch MLF events where every fish counts. It’s totally insane to me that you could catch 5 8lb bass every single day and basically get last place. It’s a total joke in my mind. It would be like golf making the hole 3 feet wide to give the guys that couldn’t win normally have a shot. And then guys say “it takes the luck out of one or two big ones out of play” and it’s like yea just like a guy chipping in from the sand trap in that tiny little hole vs if they made it 3ft and everyone could chip in lol takes the “luck” away.
