Learn everything you need to know about Antarctica in this video!
Geography | History | Science | Politics
The continent of #Antarctica was the last of the 7 continents for humans to set foot on. This leaves a lot of untouched nature and geographical phenomena to explore, and a huge opportunity for humanity to gain insights into earth and the universe through science in Antarctica.
In this video we will look into the most interesting geography facts about Antarctica, how early explorers slowly made their way to this inhospitable continent, how the scientific world uses the continent today, and how the fragile political situation around the almost unpopulated continent looks like, with some outlooks into what the future may behold.
Chapters:
0:00 Intro
0:47 Geography of Antarctica
5:54 History of Antarctica
12:40 Science in Antarctica
17:39 Politics and the Future of Antarctica
Let me know what you think about the future of Antarctica in the comments and see you in the next video, cheers!

As someone who reads a lot of grammar books, I'm aware of the American 'would' or use of the present instead of the past tense, but is there a sinister reason that many scripts try deliberately to avoid the past historic?

You randomly appeared in my feed. I hadn’t watched for search anything about either polar region. I enjoyed this video. I think it was put together well. Minimal bias or dramatisation. Nicely done. I have subscribed.

11:39 is that an euphemistic way of saying, Amundsen and his crew ate their fallen crews? I mean she wasn't certainly talking about the huskys which they definitely ate.
