I grew up watching this show and continued through my adult life. I am now 61 years old and I still watch the repeats if I find them . The Little House on the Prairie is one of the best shows on TV that ever was shown. Back then when decent programs were shown for the old and the young as well. It would be nice to see something like this again in this time now. There is too much violence shown now and too much indecent scenes on certain progrrams. Thank you "Little House On The Prairie for giving us such wonderful and amazing true life entertainment of all time.

Tonya Thomas The same here, except my Dad wasn't a workaholic. He, praise the LORD was home with us most evenings as well, usually by 4:00 rest a minute, eat supper, get ready for bed... in the mid to late 70s Mom and Dad shared reading the books to us at bedtime, along with other chapter books, where we would get a few chapters every night until the book was done of course. I was born in 71, and I say praise GOD as we lost my Dad in 87. But we always watched the same with both my parents and my Grandparents on my Dad's side EVERY Sunday!!! I have 1 older brother and 1 younger sister! I remember loving all 3 of the shows and missing them a lot when we no longer had them!!!!! LOL, are you drunk? People back then are the same as they are now. Kid's respected authority? You must be out of your mind. And people working together? People STILL do that. And values are still taught, they may be a tiny bit different, but my God you make people from the past seem like a different species. Lol, don't romanticize the past.
