I loved Babylon 5. Captain Sheridan was a memorable character in an excellent show. I had no idea Bruce Boxleitner had such a long history in television, nor did I know he wrote two books. I loved his work in Babylon 5. I hope I can find his work in other television shows and movies. I will enjoy seeing it. As for a reboot of Babylon 5, good luck recreating perfection.

A very nice-looking man even in later years, with a great voice. I liked the slow courtship of Capt. Sheridan and Delenn in Babylon 5, which took place over several seasons, a solid friendship that became more over time and eventually led to marriage. When Sheridan died at the end of the series, I cried.

I agree his best role is Lee Stetson, but I love to say that there isn't one character he has played that I haven't completely enjoyed. He is my absolute favorite actor, I enjoy every character and anything about this man. He is a very moral and companionable man, I wish him and his family the very best, and he's write about modern TV. Bruce has done a lot of great work. I love the Captain Sheridan character from Babylon 5 the most. It was wonderful to see Bruce take the Sheridan character right through to the end of Sheridan's life. Some really great and powerful acting throughout the Babylon 5 series. Much Luvz for all! ❤

His High School home is about a mile from where I live. Called "The Boxleitner House," locally. A really pretty "Mid-century Modern." The current owner is a lovely person. Bruce Boxleitner would be welcome at Prospect High School & at his former home in Mt. Prospect, IL. All sorts of famous people get-started here - and move to L. A.

I remember first seeing him in the 1981 mini series East of Eden with Jane Seymour. I also met him years ago at a convention which started out with several Babylon 5 stars supposed to be coming, but he ended up the sole attendee for various reasons. He was rather a nice man, though he was still dealing with the fall out from his broken marriage to Melissa Gilbert. Am glad to hear he has found love again and is happy.

Loved him in How the West Was Won and such a big fan of SMK! Absolutely the best smile on TV, ever. SMK at times was dark and it certainly wasn't uplifting to have to have a secret marriage because your're a spy and spend time away with your kids so you can live part-time with your husband. Sounds like it could be a description of a modern TV show. However, that is part of what made the show different and interesting. There are plenty of uplifting shows, though some darkness will be shown because...well...that's what life is; good and bad, light and dark. Without some dark, characters and stories would be less interesting and there would certainly not be the chance for a character(s) to be heroic or overcome real adversity.
