Your illustration and methodology is very good but it is not easy to upgrade cartridge printer to ink tank printer, it requires an expert who can perform the job with great precision. We will definitely need an expert printer mechanic to accomplish the job. Many a times, with all precautions, we fail to refill the ink into cartridge successfully.

Hi brother, greetings! First things first, very detailed, informative and educative video and I enjoyed it completely! I followed all your steps and to install the same in my HP DESKJET 2135 printer and just after installation, the color print was mind-blowing and when all the prints were done, I shut off the valve, but next morning, the problem began as: 1. When I tried to take the print, the output was blank/clotty, just like a print made by a empty cartridge. 2. I took out few pages by keeping the CISS tank on top of printer, the print started but there was a huge ink spill on each print out especially on paper boundaries and corners even after placing the CISS tank just in level with printer. Now, what to do, is this any installation problem or is there anything that needs to be fixed as now I am so frustrated, that I am thinking to buy a new Ink tank printer. Please hep me out! Look forward!

Hi Arun , The Ciss that you have installed is a good one. Now about the problem - take your cartridges out and remove the ciss pipes and keep it ideal for 5-6 hrs with the ink outlet part facing the ground untouched , as to remove the extra ink inside through natural leakage Clean the cartridge with a normal white cloth completely ( avoid touching the copper part ) Put the pipes back on and then insert it back in the printer. open the Ciss Knob ( stopper ) for 1 minute and let the ink flow in the cartridge and then close the stopper . Try giving print , make sure to use good quality or original ink ... In many cases i have seen people using substandard ink which is very less viscous i.e like water and that is one of the reason for leakage , hp original inks are more Viscous i.e in hindi thoda mota

cartidges are wayy expensive ... you could save dolars for every 1000 prints it's a win after all

With time cartridge sponge loses ink capacity. At the beginning you can put 9 ml ink. but after 1 year it can hold only 1ml ink. Then you have to refill every 20 prints. If you use inktank sponge capacity does not matter. So you dont have to refill again and again. And also, if you use original or very good quality inks, you can print more than 2000 pages.

Dear friend don't put ink tank up side the printer ink leakage will occur and printer will damage maintain inktank level slightly below the level of cartridge s or equal to printer level. I suffered lot due to ink leakage, as my personal experience . Remember at any stage we can repare same printer only don't panic and don't go to buy new one . Explanation is superb .

Hi brother , Usually cartridge life is measured by the number of prints it gives . For inkjet cartridge the duty cycle is approx 1000 prints For inktank cartridge the duty cycle is approx 10000 prints For laserjet it is usually 15000-20000 prints . So after about 500-1000 prints for inkjet printers, one has to change the cartridge

Hi Mohsin, No it's not like that , inkjet cartridge and inktank cartridge are 2 different things.. Inkjet cartridge duty cycle is approximately around 1000 prints (number of prints it can give) Similarly inktank cartridge duty cycle is approximately around 10,000 prints . So even if one installs ciss the cartridge will work till around 1000 print and then the Cartridge will get damaged ...

Sir im using hp deskjet 2135. I just want to know one thing. The chip the ink cartridge, will do an assumption like how many pages are printed and based on that the ink level will be estimated. Although we try to refill it, it will still show the ink level is not enough because of the paper count printed by the cartridge. Hi Vashu , Han aap install karsakte ho par sayad problem ho , kyunki kuch kuch cases mai hp2723 mai sahi se install ho jata he ciss par kuch kuch mai nahi hota he. Mai suggest karunga aap manually refill kijiye

Hi Bharat , Han aap karsakte ho install , par I will suggest ki aap ek baar hp21 cartridge ko manually refill kijiye using syringe aur uske baad agar successful print hota he toh ciss setup kijiye

Hello. can I just refill the ink? Because the instructions supplied said that you should create a vacuum with rubber clips like this on the cartridges. What is your opinion

Yes there is a reason suction tool is used to remove air from the Cartridge and create vaccum so that ink can be pressurized to flow , or else you can manually refill the cartridge to remove the air by pumping in ink like in the video

@@FactTech14 ok so if I only fill the tank a quarter full and then create a vacuum with the suction tool, do I have to use it again when I refill the main tank? or can I just open it and fill ink?

You can just open it and fill the tank , there is no need to create vaccum again.. But make sure to fill the tank when there is still some ink left in the kit or else again you will need to use a suction tool to create vaccum

Yes you can use that much no need to fill the tank to the top , just 25-30 % ink is sufficient
