Faculty of Forestry UGM : Campus Tour

Faculty of forestry Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) was established on 17th august 1963 and has been embarking long academic journey since its establishment. Faculty of Forestry UGM has been contributing significantly not only to the science community but also to a wider community. To assure its top-notch education and research quality, the faculty has also been improving its infrastructure and human resource continuously. They also managed multidisciplinary collaboration as their commitment to ensure a comprehensive approach for greater impact.
Faculty of Forestry offers bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees in forestry. Faculty of forestry owns and manages completed laboratories, classrooms, library, and other facilities including 600 ha EcoEdu Forest of WANAGAMA and almost 11.000 ha of special purpose forest area for education and research to support education, research, and community service activities.
Research and community service activities in Faculty of Forestry are conducted collaboratively between lecturers, students, and various stakeholders. Both types of activities have significant impacts to the local and national communities as well as to the knowledge development that inline with UGM’s slogan: locally rooted and globally respected.
