I remember when Lebanon played against Philippines in the first international tournament after a long time... El Khatib was unstoppable, this guy beat us single handedly, and now he is 38 years old and still a beast. Respect from Pilipinas!! Salute tatang! 👊🇵🇭

I grew up watching this man play against our very own RP Team. He may have schooled the Philippine Team during his golden years but I never felt any hatred on this guy. He earned every Filipinos respect instead and you can rarely give that kind of credit to a foreign player. Whenever I hear Lebanon Basketball Team in Fiba Asia Tournaments, he's the first person who comes into my mind and I'm still amazed that at the age of 38 he still plays with efficiency. Much respect to this Lebanese Tiger. Go Gilas Pilipinas pa rin!!!
