I accidentally found this on PBS years ago and didn't realize it was a parody at first, until it started amping up the crazy. One of the best-written comedy shows ever. So close to the real thing, it's scary.

Richard E. Grant - genius actor, no matter what genre. Arabella Weir - perfect, the way is so subtle when being abrasive and using her own brand of ridiculous cooking terms ... a serene but not comatose cake mixture. Brilliant. (I've never forgotten the way she embarrasses vegetables in other episodes when she peels them).

Having seen only a minute of these two years ago, I needed a librarian’s help to come up with series title. When I said, “embarrassed vegetables” , she knew. Very professional keeping straight face - or might there be hours of outtakes?

I always thought that a lot of the snobbery was taken from the old british tv chef 'Fanny Craddock' she appeared with her husband 'Johnnie' but Fanny was the one that wore the trousers in that relationship!!! There's a fantastic BBC film called 'Fear of Fanny' based on them ,available on KZbin.

Chocolate is toxic to all dogs. It contains theobromine. The toxicity depends on the dose, so the darker the chocolate the more theobromine, and the larger the dog the more it can eat before being poisoned. It's really not something you should ever feed your dog, no matter what the breed.
