I like the look of Skulltimates 4 dolls, but I do agree that it looks like the designers originally started with a ballet theme then pivoted to more pop star. I think they should have either gone full ballet or full pop, instead of this kind of half-way mix.

Thank you for posting these not gonna buy videos. In such a consumer hobby, it's helpful to hear other people won't be buying every doll on the market. I agree with you on the Unicorn Academy and LUV dolls, not my jam either. I've been resisting the urge to buy Magic Mixies Pixlings since last summer. They are beautiful works of art, but molded on clothes are something I need to put my foot down on. Monster High releases have been intense. I set a hard rule for myself that I would not buy any more Skullector dolls, and that's coming from a black and white monster movie fan. I thought really hard about getting the Creeproductions, but I just wasn't into g1 Monster High when it was current, so I don't need to buy them now to enjoy my g3 dolls. Not that I'm buying more g3 dolls either, because even though they're cute, I'm really overwhelmed by the amount of dupes they've cranked out. There have been like 20 Draculauras already??? I would spend a lot more if they were just fashion packs. And I don't have room to keep all those secrets coffins.

I feel the same about the skulltimate 4 dolls actually, and if i'm honest i'm kind of glad about it because there's so many dolls i still have to get- core refresh first and foremost, but also monster fest and fearbook, so it's a welcome desinterest for me

i wouldn't mind getting Skulltimate Draculaura but enough with the lockers! I plan to get the new Pixlings but when they're on sale. I'm not a fan of the bottles.

I’m excited for the mini magic mixie mixlings. I’m excited for Fearbook & skulltimate secrets 4 but not as much as I’m excited for the hissfits 3 pack, Catty Noir & g3 Spectra. I did recently buy refresh Lagoona & monster fest Frankie. In monster fest I can def pass on Drac with the truck.

I love the idea of the Barbie style fashion packs, I follow the Barbie style account on insta and the ppl that dress up the Barbies always put them in cute stuff, like why can’t we get dolls with this type of quality and style, I hope they do more

Literally the only person I’ve seen who is into these on YT is the Doll Daddy, and that’s because he’s literally an architecture major. If you aren’t a nerd for interior design, these don’t seem worth it. But as miniatures of very famous design pieces, I could see these being a fun novelty.

Being an older collector, here is my opinion. I can wait until the little girls play with the dolls and the moms give them away through garage sales or donate them to Savers. I am not one to have to have dolls in my collection that are crisp and new. Not trying to keep anyone from buying new. This is a style of living for me.

I appreciate hearing this pov. I’ve only been collecting dolls for about 2 years and I know the pace I’m going is unsustainable. I’m trying to get more comfortable with waiting a “long” time on dolls. Most if them go on clearance in the US after awhile, so there’s usually not a reason to buy them at full price. I’m also learning to accept that I can get dolls I miss out on later through secondhand sites. They may not be as discounted, but I save money in the long run by not forcing myself to rush and get every dollar I like. So thank you for sharing your perspective.

the LUV dolls are also like way smaller than most fashion dolls, their clothes dont really fit other dolls so they aren't even super worth the fashion packs either

The Unicorn Academy dolls are on Amazon in my country and personally I don't like them much. There is something about their faces that I don't quite like and I already have Monster High to worry about.

its cool that like even when u like the skullector u dont rush to buy it. so many people seem to be like. i have to buy every skullector even if i think its mid. and its exhausting to see!

Anything MGA I'm giving up on them. The Pixlings are adorable, but you can't do much with them. You just put them on the shelf. I like the mini Decora Girlz more. You can change them up when you feel like it. It's my favorite new doll line so far this year. Had no plans on buying them, but I got six for free.

Since I never did get the first Skulltimate Secrets Draculaura, I definitely want the Fearbook one. And I do want the Eekend Set since I like the black redesigned car and I think Clawdeen looks so gorgeous. As for the rest, yes I agree with you (though if I have more money, I might buy one LUV doll as I’ve heard their clothing is really good) and I agree with your hot take on Skulltimate Secrets Series 4! 😅

I have two of the new LUV dolls, with a third one coming today, and they're actually cute. I do understand that they are not for everyone, however. With that said, I have tried so hard to like the Pixlings, even picked one up to buy and put it back. They're just not my cup of tea. The bear one looks okay though.

The more monster high skullector drops the less interested I become in the dolls like creature from the black lagoon doll is beautiful, I don’t want it tho lol I’ve completely reworked my mindset on doll collecting since last year and it saves me ALOT of money, until they do a corpse bride release I’m not moving over any of these dolls no matter how pretty they are

There are a couple of the dolls you don't want that I would like to have; but most of them I feel the same as you do. I'm also not interested in any of the new RH dolls I have heard of so far. It's really sad that they chose to go down that path; especially since they already have several doll lines geared towards children. So why would they take away the only adult line they had and lean in towards children again? It makes no sense to me. Anyhow, nice to see you again Sweetie :)

really only interested in getting the torelai fearbook, abbey skulltimate (if she has saran), and cleo skulltimate just because of the hair as well out of these at least. i just wish they would stop doing the whole huge locker thing, i’d rather just get good looking dolls with 2 solid outfits, saran hair, and stands for $30. spend less on the locker aspect pleaaase mattel!! 😭😭😭

unfortunately all of the skulltimate 4 dolls have poly 😢. seems to be a running theme, as every series of skulltimate secrets has had all dolls with poly hair except the first series, i believe only clawdeen had poly in that one. but yeah its very dissapointing. im at the point where i refuse to buy a doll with poly hair, imo its unacceptable on a non budeget doll. and yes please mattel we want stands not huge plastic boxes, we have gotten enough of those already!

I don't collect any of these dolls on your list but Monster high. The creature of the black Lagoon didn't wow me. The creproduction dolls I was only able to get Abby & spectra. The others were sold out. I bought the operrata doll. Just because I don't own one of her. Started collecting MH late. I want tolerlie. I am so excited about the 4th set of skullimates dolls. Didn't like the other 3 sets. I didn't get none of the off white monster high dolls either.

I got the Creature skullector!! I love her a lot, shes my first skullector~ I'm kind of interested in Catlin from Pixlings, I love kitties too, also I love purple and my name is Caitlyn so I feel like its destiny hehe. But yeah with skulltimate secrets im kind of sad because ive loved the past 3 and this series didnt do anything for me..

I love the new Marina Pixling. I don't have the original one yet and now Im going to wait for the new version instead.. She's cuter imo. I agree about Faye. The original one is cuter. I need Catlin just because I'm obsessed with cats. I agree she could be better. She reminds me of Lola from Rainbow High Costume Ball line. The pink and blue Pixling is the one Im most excited for!! She's adorable.

Dolls I do or don't want on this list: Unicorn academy: no Luv dolls: hell no they ugly. I saw them in person and ugh Pixlings mareena: I need this one, love Pixlings fae: pass, the og was better Pixlings catlynn: absolute yes Pixlings bearlinda: also love and need Barbie fashion packs: bleh, hard pass. Grossly basic design Barbie chairs: absolutely not. Ugh Mh creature: I passed, but it's increasingly bothering me that I did. She's so cool Mh creepros: I got all but spectra cuz of the poly. and I'm so happy with them all. I had no originals so I'm so happy to have these. Mh club operetta: I passed cuz it's not my vibe, but I cud yet be swayed Mh car set: it's so sad that they put GOOD dolls in with the car this time. I have the car. So idk Mh fearbook draculaura: she's a pass. Mh fearbook toralei: she's a must Mh ss4 Cleo: hell yes Mh ss4 abbey: def yes, slightly less enthusiastically but still yes Mh ss4 draculaura: the least enthusiastic yes but still a must buy Mh ss4 clawdeen: first clawdeen with micro braids a very happy yes Off white: passed. Don't regret passing on any of these for a second. Neither did anyone else cuz theyre all still available Mh potions: absolute yes. These are cute and fun and they're like the vinyls from g1.

The LUV dolls are so ugly and cheap. Some of the fashion packs look ok. Mattel prices are just insane these days. And Mattel creations just doubled shipping price to Australia from $15 to $30. It used to be $30 for express now its just standard. I wish I got the Black Lagoon MH doll but I couldn't afford it right now.

Am surprised you put the Pixlings on here, but ya I understand. LUV dolls I found out buy watching other videos they are smaller then Barbie, I think people will not get them if there outfits can't fit Barbie or Disney dolls etc. I didn't know Barbie came out with nicer fashion packs? Your the first people I hear talk about them. IF I wanted any of these FP it would just be the pink outfit. I saw the new photos for the Jakks ILY dolls they are making 2 more Stitch dolls with the same outfits WHY?!

BUT why would they make a redhead and a black girl wearing the same outfits and accessories?! Jakks was going to make a Jake and Sally doll, are they going to do them or did they get cancelled?
