As a rule Rugby players don't do well in NFL and vice versa. Personally, I don't like comparisons between Rugby and NFL regarding toughness and strength and so forth. Two different ball game sports with totally different challenges.

Faf’s first language is Afrikaans. Most Saffers speak English as the common tongue though.

Basically all the Springbok rugby players can speak Afrikaans or English. And mostly they can speak both.

@@alyssafourie688 So I've met a lot of Anglophones from SA, they speak English only, it seems that all of these players either Xhosa or Afrikaans, and you can obviously tell who speaks Afrikaans - the ones with French names like Francois ???? Im so confused about SA peoples' origins. So if Dutch settlers went over there in some century, why the hell they all have names with prefixes Du and De and not Van Der.

@@ambientsounds1416 So, I take it you are not South African🙈 Here goes... Some South Africans are Van der-something. Like Van der Merwe or Van der Westhuizen. My last name is Fourie, which has a French origin. The Xhosa, Zulu etc. people were the first people in SA. Then loads of countries including France, England, Germany, Scotland, Netherlands and so on came to SA and settled there. That's where the many white people (and those last names of course) come from. Afrikaans is a language that developed from Holland/Dutch. It's the mother tongue of almost 6 million South Africans. I hope this makes a little more sense. It is really hard to explain when typing😂🙈

Dont get me wrong I like Faf, but 80% of the time he worries more about the REF then getting the ball our quickly, The first Rugby world cup match was lost because he slowed the game down allowing the All Blacks to regroup 95% of the time before getting the ball to the back line, and the over the scrum kicks are just terrible.
