My poem about solitude in the spring An Ode to Spring The spring leaves and the summer days, Only for us to feel in fullest, Where the light of life arises warmly, Up to the undying sky and beyond from us. Our silent journeys we never told, From the countless years, One day it will be confessed by the sun, Through the rays of ultimate revelation. In the precious moments of our solitude, We learn to discover multifold secrets of reality, That all things are changing, Except for the wonders we hold. Life is fleeting as the weather proceeds, In the end we choose to live, Somewhere in time we will be with the stars, For we were there before existence. Happy spring time fellow friend.

Erik, Since my last comment I've purchased the gen. 2 Notch Li (DCF) tent. -> Using reinforcement circles of Dyneema repair tape folded over the edge of the fly hem I've sewn on 4 stake loops for windy weather (I often camp above 3,500 meters) Tenacious Tape also works for this purpose. Also I have dyed the "solid" panels of the inner tent green for more shade and privacy. The DCF fly is translucent, unlike the silnylon fly, and I need the shade here in the US mountain west. ->The gen. 2 Dyneema Tarptents are now all made in a top tier Chinese factory and the build quality is even higher, as in "Hilleberg Quality" level. BTW, thanks for doing these videos in English and replying in English.

Hi Eric B. I guess there are some people - like me - who where convinced of the Tarptents by Erik`s films. I have had the Stratospire Li in use for several hikes now and I am quiet satisfied with it. Even more spacious than the Notch, but a the hexagon is a bit tricky to set up in the beginning. The tent did not have to meet harsh conditions so far, but I added two loops on every door, so that I can fix them on the tent peg (MSR Groundhogs) and relieve the zipper. I appreciate very much that the DCF does not stretch one milimeter when wet and has a 8,000mm+ hydrostatic head pressure rating - rainy days will be a pleasure with this tent ;)

I have that Notch but in the "Lithium" Dyneema version. I've added 4 fly hem stake loops and dyed the inner tent green for more shade. With the fly hem stakes of winter deadman and the two side pole guy lines I think it could withstand a lot of wind. However my best solo winter tent is the Tarptent Moment DW with the newer heavy duty main pole, optional Crossing Pole and better guy points and factory installed fly hem loops. All guyed out and staled down with the X-ing pole shortened 5" and run UNBDER the fly my Moment DW has easily withstood steady 40 mph winds and 65 mph gusts.
