This can be attributed to the difference between the American ethos/vibe, and the European/Scandinavian ethos/vibe... North Americans feel the need to fill any silence with the sound of their own voice, whereas the latter are raised to appreciate the silences..

No wind, no snowfall predicted: no tent required or an ul-version like the Tartpent Notch will do. Otherwise - like on this trip - you pack a solid one, like the Hilleberg Nammatj. What weather forecast do you use and rely on? The swedish SMHI, the norwegian YR or anything else?
