This can be attributed to the difference between the American ethos/vibe, and the European/Scandinavian ethos/vibe... North Americans feel the need to fill any silence with the sound of their own voice, whereas the latter are raised to appreciate the silences..

Dear Erik, As we say here in America..."Erik, you're THE MAN!" Your videos are so respectful of Nature's majesty and beauty...and allows us, the viewers, to "soak it all in," as you yourself seem to be doing. I have said before, in commenting on another of your videos, that you are like a monk, and Nature is your monastery. There is a feeling of "the sacred" in your travels in the wilderness. I appreciate the artistry and HARD WORK you clearly put into your filming. You create "community" without words; shared human feelings triumph.

Once again an altogether beautiful true wilderness narrative from the pure white winter mountains, with the tranquility of falling snowflakes, the sound of winds, skies and to see the cutest small animals surviving the harsh conditions of winter cold and snowy landscapes! Big THANK to you dear Erik for giving us your many subscribers a unique view from your outings and hiking in very early spring season! Wishing you a blessed spring season! ° PS. Just a short note; maybe your breakfast-bread would taste even better, if you could, kind of warm up the cold rolled-bran-bread on your frying pan, and then put on the soft cheese, or else, in order to then enjoy the taste of mimicking a fresh bread right from the bakers oven, together later with your unique "snow-coffee" and feeling the warm, very first and special taste and waking-up-scent from, your newly cooked morning coffee? ° PS 2 - By the way, your sound recording is the best I have to listen to so far, and your excellent sound quality is adding a great deal of pristine wilderness feeling from the surrounding environment and the natures own beautiful sounds, and by that you are making a perfection, to your, video both for eyes (well-composed/exposed video footage) and recorded sound for the ears! The fragrance from the freshly cooked coffee we have to imagine! :-) °

@@erik_normark Hi again! I guess, you check out the weather forecast carefully, before you start your trips, especially in winter. E.g. No wind, no snowfall predicted: no tent required or an ul-version like the Tartpent Notch will do. Otherwise - like on this trip - you pack a solid one, like the Hilleberg Nammatj. What weather forecast do you use and rely on? The swedish SMHI, the norwegian YR or anything else?
