I've ravelled across North Sweden last summer. Far from cities, just lakes, forrest and few other travellers. Friendly people, amazing landscapes and hypnotizing silence. Lucky with sunny weather, spent great time fully loading my batteries for the whole next year. What funny I didn't see any elk, deer or reindeer. The locals said the reason is that I probably sing too loud when travelling.

Currently, in my region in Switzerland, we have a total fire ban in and around forests 😔 .. so my outdoor breakfast yesterday was in a local park overlooking the river, on a concrete table and bench .. alcohol the chosen fuel source. I had set up a tarp immediately behind me on the grass, using a tree and lamp pole as rain was threatening. After their dogs had finishing investigating what I was cooking up, I was approached by more than one 'Swiss Granny' with, "Did you overnight here?" Yep, the 'Swiss Grannies' .. they see everything 👀 .. a highly effective surveillance system 😁. For the first time in a while, I too, had to put on a light fleece while sitting there. Autumn is on it's way 👍👍👍.

I love how green the forest looks. In Germany we had an extremely dry and hot summer, a lot of trees died. I hope that nature will regenerate again. And: the shot of the squirrel at 7:12 was perfect, so cute!

Always, your videos make me want to be there with you walking the beautiful lush forest. The wind blowing through the trees, your feet walking on the forest floor, the making of a fire and the smell of the coffee brewing are all so relaxing. I can almost smell the forest with the wind blowing through my hair. The birds and forest animals running around make for the perfect day. You have been off for a couple of months so assuming you were pretty sick….I surly hope your all better now and are able to get back to the things you love. Life is precious!
