My childhood best friend, Mike, raced motocross and in one race in Maine (I think) the kid in front of him crashed hard at the bottom of a high jump and wasn't moving, Mike made the split second decision, MID-AIR to ditch his bike so he wouldn't kill the kid, instead of landing on him directly with the bike, he threw it so only he landed on the kid. Mike shattered his femur and wasn't right for nearly a year, but he saved the other kids life. This was in the 90's so I doubt there's video.

That one hurled a large chunk of concrete (that was nearly a ton if memory serves) over a mile to hit a building at Cessna Aircraft where my dad was working. When it became winter I stored it away and in the next spring I got it back out again to let some arrows soar through the sky.
