1. It was a patron video. Idk if he feels obligated to post these openings so the patron can see. 2. Probably more important is how much time he spent in the video saying he had no idea what Metazoo was doing and this probably signified he had absolutely no idea about the exit scam shutdown. Rudy talks frequently about his reputation and I find it real hard to believe that Rudy had any idea about this happening. Yeah I get it “Rudy shilled Metazoo for money” but I don’t believe Rudy would dump product he legitimately knew was going to die. Maybe I’m wrong but his patron account is strong and he has good numbers on KZbin and something ultra scummy like offloading everything before Metazoo announced the closure not only didn’t happen but would be a gigantic boon for all the people who’ve called Rudy a shill since day one. Card games/companies fail. Plenty of carcasses on the road of failed games. It’s unfortunate he is tied so firmly to this game but I highly doubt he had any idea. I wonder if tcg knew about it and that’s why they fire sold it? I’ll have to dig into this tcg controversy more.

On tcgplayer the individual boxes combined at the time was less than Rudy's deal, which again was $399 (wtf?). Look up Rudy's video from Nov. 16 for reference on which boxes were included, then see the past selling prices on tcgplayer. The market price determines the value of the product and for the 4 boxes this can be found. But you are correct, the crayon pieces had an ambiguous value before it was sold because it obviously wasn't in the market. But still would you pay $150 for 4 promo cards for which you didn't know if they were as valuable as your paying?

The My Little Pony TCG actually had good play mechanics and good design. It just had ZERO tournament support and no clear official rulebook. Which made no sense because Hasbro owns both wizards of the coast and my little pony. At the time wizards had a great tournament structure through the DCI that could have EASILY run My Little Pony TCG. It was a dumb move.
