Failing in nursing school/ Repeating a semester

Thank you for sharing this. I didn’t pass my foundations of nursing course for my first semester of nursing school and now I have to retake it this summer semester. I was beating myself up quite a bit about it, but everything you said in your video was very relieving and I’m motivated to give myself the opportunity to do better.

Needed this. Happen to me yesterday, except it was only one wrong on a math drug dosage test (my school won’t allow us to get anything wrong for math) which is making me repeat the entire first semester, theory AND clinical and all validations all over again. I hate not graduating with my cohort and I do not want to repeat every single thing I just did over a math test so I do feel discourage so I’m so glad I found this video. Thank you for uploading. A lot of nursing students need this.

I just failed my last semester, I never failed a class before this is so devastating. I would be graduating this June, but I am not. I feel so embarrassed😭😭😭😭

Girl don’t EVER feel embarrassed about failing. Or how it changes your course! Failure is a HUGE part of success. And whatever the reason you “failed”, come back harder! Just like I am and everyone before and after us who has and WILL fail. Failure is the part of success that makes it all the more worth it because once you cross the finish line you’ll back and be glad you never quit! so what if that looks different for you than someone else! It’s not about when you graduate, it’s about getting there! You got this! You’ll have the material fresh in your mind next time and you’ll be able to help others! Never doubt God perfect plan!

Hey girl I’m just reading this 6 months after you posted this after finding out I just said my third semester. I was supposed to graduate in May 2022. Feeling devastated right now. I’m so sorry you’re in a similar situation but I’m finding some peace knowing I’m not alone.
