At first, seeing Bumpy in the Mini, I was very worried. But that first place win was pretty sweet, and the battle with Dangerman at the end too. Great tournament overall.

Had great fun taking part, was a fun but competitive evening capped off by the joy of bumpy winning. Though I wish I chose the dominator. Raced it afterwards and it was 2s a lap quicker.

Wreckfest looks fun. Like a game that doesn't take itself too seriously and just wants to be fun. It reminds me of the times I went to the local race track as a kid and just watched guys who raced on the weekends because it was their hobby.

Super fun, instant sub! What tournament points system do you use? Following along for fun, using the F1 points system, I got: Ca5ino Royale 103, Raregliscor1 102, LongbowX MkII 100 --- with Alex going from 4th to 1st in the final race. Interestingly, the old 9-6-4-3-2-1 points gave similar: Ca5ino Royale 28, Raregliscor1 26, LongbowX MkII 25 -- with Alex going from 2nd to 1st in the final race. Whatever system you use clearly rewards 5th to 7th higher, proportionally, than F1 has, because both systems gave Ninetails fourth place ahead of DANGERMAN. Interesting factoid: Ninetails picked up 4 fastest laps, Longbow had 3, and gliscor had 1 -- so Alex really did win this on consistency rather than pure speed!

Just a quick tip for future tournaments: Check if your car can go over the bigger curbs like the nasty one in the first race successfully. If not, tune the suspension to be softer until it does. Softer suspension in this game also makes car less oversteery.

pro tip: with the crossovers you can do a couple of things to mitigate disaster. 1: You can let someone go to your outside so if you both get wiped out, the car on the outside acts as a cushion for you. 1: On some crossovers you can go the wrong way round the loop and it still counts as a valid direction. So you could form gentlemen's agreements to go the other way round the loop so cars going in don't interfere with the cars going out.

I watched a stream of a wreckfest tournament: "No Cry Babies Tournament", and they had a race at same "Hill Street" and the rule was that everyone enters hairpin left and exits it left. Result was no crossover. It was on "Yoshey66" KZbin channel; a very fast wreckfest racer.
