I have to be honest, I loved the Discovery show and watched every episode over the years, but I think I love these videos you guys are doing (and Otto) so much more. We really get to see more of what you do, why you do it, and how chaotic and rewarding a true homesteading lifestyle can be. As long as you want to post, I promise to be here watching. You guys are the bees knees.

Back in my day, I hated the smell of the plucking chickens. It was every Sunday the least layer was dinner. We never grew just meat chickens, everyone was expected to work on the farm, including the chickens. We were Dairy Farmers. So watching your family is like visiting a part of my past. I really enjoy seeing your family and how you work and play together.

Most of the kids I know of, seldom go outside, they are all glued to their devices as you would call them. They have no idea of how life truly works. Keep the video's coming, and keep up the good work!

My family had a farm for meat, veggies and fruit for us. 44 fruit trees, 1/4 acre garden, a acre of lawn, a acre of pasture for a milk cow, a heifer and a steer and lots of birds for meat. On average every year we butchered about 100+ chicken meat birds plus many ducks, geese, turkeys as well a steer every 2-3 years and the heifer too. Big work produced by all that stuff but it was the best meat and produce imaginable. So I dig your operation there and I have zero issues with getting meat from the farm and wildlife too. >@^_*@
