The film was well made with great acting but it's yet another film about the strong competent female and the weak jealous man. I feel bad for the next generation of men that have to contend with this feminist dominated world.

Nah. They are both extremely flawed which is what I loved about the film. They both have strengths and weaknesses and the film acknowledges that. Also „feminist dominated“ makes no sense as an expression as feminism strives for equality.

Yes, obviously the director has been brainwashed by this ideology.

This doesn’t even make sense. This movie was an extremely accurate example of real life situations. It wasn’t a cliche like you’re making it out to be. I don’t even understand how this movie would be an “example”of how feminism is starting to “dominate” the world. This movie wasn’t obviously pushing a message. It didn’t have an extreme bias against men. The only reason anyone would think this movie is “too feminist” is because they’re sexist themselves

Men arent threatened by a womens success. Its the fact women use that success to think themselves better and use it to resume the leadership role in the relationship. Not all women are like that but most are but one thing most men will experience is the "independent strong minded" career women lose their feminine traits and take on masculine traits as is being displayed here. Here is just the reality: 1. Men are attracted to feminine traits and its a lot less headache going for less strong minded women 2. When a women becomes more successful in her career then she reduces her dating pool because deep down she can only respect a person who is on the same level or higher as her which is a smaller pool and most of those men will not look her way when there are more younger or more feminine women out there.

You are literally proving the point of the whole movie with this comment.

@@kaylag5551 which there is nothing wrong with it. If she's happy to push 40 and still be single like the director then that's fine. That's whats happening with all women in this day age who are prioritising a career first. As long as they are happy with that price then fair play to them. In regards to the movie, even the women missed a trick. At the beginning there was 2 PM. By the end they both got fired as such high end roles are always short lived in this industry. She will go on to eventually get the same outcome. The market is ruthless like that.

@@tanveerUKhan15 Whatever bro idk why ur making it about what men want when the whole movie is about the negative effects those expectations have one women. Your acting like feminine women aren’t strong minded when that’s not true. I don’t care about what you have to say because it’s more than likely misogynistic and I don’t want to deal with that😭😭

@@kaylag5551 it's not about what men want. It's about facts and how the world works. It's basic psychology which you can't change. I never said feminine women can't be strong minded. It's a natural characteristic for women to be strong minded, especially when they become mothers. There's nothing mysoginistic about it. Complaining why a women struggles to get a man as she climbs the corporate ladder on the level like in this film is like men complaining about the better patience level women have with children in comparison with men. Both are just psychology and fact. You can complain and whine how you don't want such negativity but then you are only putting yourself at a disadvantage in navigating how the world works. You might as well start believing men turn into women without any genetic operations or vice versa.

@@tanveerUKhan15 1) ur literally wrong how are you gonna say ur own opinion is factual when it’s a biased opinion what ? 2) just because it’s the way some or majority of men think doesn’t mean that it’s psychologically or genetically predisposed just because it’s the psychology of some men doesn’t mean it’s the same for all 3) your contridicting yourself. You said that men go for more feminine traits and that dealing with strong minded women is more of a headache. Which literally implies that feminine women aren’t strong minded. I understand that you didn’t mean that they aren’t strong minded in every aspect, but you still said it so don’t try to backtrack. 4) Wym, women are not complaining about their love lives in this movie. It’s about the misogyny that they get faced with in their relationships and even in the workplace.5) idek why you keep stating that this is “basic psychology”. Like I said before it’s not inherit that men act like this it’s taught by our society. Lastly, your insane if you actually believe that women are the ones who are causing themselves to go through such negativity in their lives. If you knew anything about basic psychology you would understand that that’s not true at all.
