So pleased you are taking measures to discourage those unannounced visitors who assume that because you post online they have some sort of right to see you as a tourist attraction 😮…. I hope that 29:59 you are able to find some sort of physical filter to protect your privacy. No-one who truly understands the essence of your life would dream of invading your home or personal space in that way. Blessings always to you Colette.

Visitors by appointment is not at all pretentious. Your safety is paramount and you can't have people showing up like that. Obviously you can't rely on good manners so you will have to secure your home for your own safety. You are generous in sharing and likely don't want to bar access but i think you must as there are always those willing to take advantage of your good nature.

Setting boundaries is a necessary part of having a private life. Nothing pretentious about it, simply not allowing others to bully away your time (which is precious)

I can’t believe the audacity of people just showing up unannounced. That is just rude and obnoxious. These people could be dangerous. I’m really shocked that people just come in and make themselves at home. It makes me feel very protective over you. I don’t really know what the norms are in other countries and we are known for being very friendly in the south but I can tell you that if someone did that to me (just showing up) they would very politely be asked to leave. I think the sign is a very good idea. Sorry but it just ruffled my feathers hearing about someone doing that to you. Ok, my rant is over.💖 Blessings to you my dear

I wanted to share with you about my Mulberry Tree. I live in Las Vegas and this Mulberry Tree planted itself in the corner of my yard. It is so huge and takes up the entire corner of my yard. And produces tons of Mulberries for me and the birds. And there are others around my yard that have planted themselves. So crazy so awesome.

I think a sign is a great idea and should definitely do the trick for visitors and save you the time and hassle. That guy would freak me out too. Good thing you got Jack to watch out for you :)

Enjoyed watching the video. I can't believe someone walked I to your property. Please be safe. I have a beautiful garden. It's now October but in the Spring it's absolutely beautiful. I have a Mulberry tree, Moringa Trees, Papayas, orange, grapefruit and 2 lemon trees and lots of herbs and flowers. I love the birds singing in the mornings.

Have to add, my husband told me when they cut a Mango tree in his yard as a boy in the Philippines, the fairy folk in there got mad and made a mess in his room. He said he heard angry voices. It's gotta mean something is two totally different cultures believe in the same thing.

People can be so selfish and intrusive. I don't think a kindly worded sign would be at all pretentious. It IS private property and I can see that you, like myself, are a very private person. Posting a video for the public to enjoy is very different from strangers wandering thru startling you in your jammies on your veranda first thing in the morning. 🚫
