Speaking of wood and carburetors, back in '82 I had an '81 Cutlass that ran like crap. I took a Rochester 4bb off a '63 327, made an adapter out of wood and put it on the 231 v6. Ran fabulous and used it daily for six months and then put the built 327 in the Cutlass. 😁😎 there's much more to the history of this car....

I've seen a few wood carb adapters, pretty genius stuff in my opinion!

In all my decades, I’ve heard a lot of engines running, but I honestly can’t say I’ve ever heard one quite like this! I love it! Made my day!

Hell yeah another Fairmount saved! I believe she sounds like a 302. Can't wait to see what you do to her!

I'm not sure what the future holds yet, 302, 460, Cummins.....what you think? 🤔

@@Crossthe_line 460 will sound sweet but not in the pockets like a Cummins.

Hi Shawn. That engine. looks to be out of a Pinto or Mustang of the 70's . I have owned and worked on a few Fairmont's . Most had the six cylinder some had a 302 Ci v8. Most were automatic transmission.Has always liked and shared. All my very best.
