That is roughly equivalent to my Xcover6 Pro, and it's PLENTY of processing power and great 120hz screen with an easily replaceable battery. I'd buy that if my Xcover6 ever bites it.

And btw, hearing (volume) phone calls is also a problem with mine.....which is why I have to use speakerphone.

Great to have seen some actual tests on call quality and the like. Just talking is not enough for a good, objective review.

I own a FP5 since launch and I've never had any problems with phone call quality. Perhaps you can make a claim on the warranty?

For Fairohone 6 the really need to take advantage of newer processors, a Snapdrago. 8gen3 or gen2 will work wonders for this
@270eha1921 күн бұрын
@@lilmoris1 I agree, it will be a better value for the phone when they (Fairphone) sells this at "Flagship Territory Prices".

Sadly, it won't be easy to do because Qualcomm will stop supporting those sooner than later and they're still probably not cheap.

Battery saver is not good for phone call performance aka signal reception

I'd potentially be interested but I am from USA. AT&T so I am worried about the coverage.
@270eha19Ай бұрын
@@lewis1324 Hi, I would recommend using this phone as an additional secondary, never a primary daily driver phone. Trying them out on any USA cellular network is a hit or miss.

In Terms of camera i'd be interested If your Problems continue with a different camera App, for me IT Sounds Like there is a Software/Driver Problem

@@romanbecker6711 Thanks! I'll have to check that out. 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂

Can you do a test of the camera at max zoom?
@270eha192 ай бұрын
@@thorluis226 Sure, I'll make a video on this. 🌝🌝

Hi, here is an update I found on previous videos I made on the Fairphone 5 testing the video performance and yes, this includes the zoom as well: 1) Fairphone 5 VS Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, Video and Photo Quality kzbin.info/www/bejne/e3XamHhvdrF5eJY 2) Fairphone 5 5G Video, Audio and Photo Test kzbin.info/www/bejne/jH-VqKltq7SrY5o

I like what fairphone is doing but for that price it leaves to much to be desired. I would be willing to pay that much for phone but I would expect much more polished product. Until that is case thank you google for your pixels.
@270eha192 ай бұрын
I agree with you 💯💯💯💯💯 on your comment! On the part that this phone leaves to be desired, they should have priced it at least $450.00, it would have been very attractive to many buyers. I got mine for $820.00 and with that price tag, I would have gotten 2 Samsung A54 phones.
@wearegeekАй бұрын
The entire thing about Fairphone is that its Fair. It uses recycled raw materials as much as possible and it uses factories that pay their workers adequately. That comes at a price.
@wearegeekАй бұрын
@@270eha19 With the software support and repairability in mind, you indeed need two Samsung A54 in order to outlive one FP5.
@AninoNiKugi13 күн бұрын
That's just the sad reality for niche and small companies. They pay more for smaller volume manufacturing. They don't even use off the shelf components for most of the phone. All niche products have this problem. You can't really compare them to other "normal" products that are has greater value for what they cost. At the end of the day, when you buy these, it means you're willing to compromise because you either believe to what they're doing or you just don't have any other choice - i.e. phones with physical keyboard such as the Fxtec Pro1-X

@@AninoNiKugi Also, they don't extort people and the planet, like Samsung and Apple do.
