Fairview 61 : Surfin' USA (& Canada)

Regular viewers of my channel will know that I've been in the US and Canada recently for a work trip: this is a summary of the railroad-related things I got up to during my stay, both in 1:87 and 1:1 scale - and includes footage of my visit to John Parker's inspirational BNSF Fall River Division!

Lucky you Ian! I was also lucky enough to visit Mr Parker and see the fantastic "Fall River Division" during my visit to the US in 2015! I was not there on a Op's day , so no trains running , but still a great experience to see this wondefull layout! Glad you had a great trip and got some inspiration from your visit. Cheers Gregg.

Happy to see you enjoyed some Colorado Rockies railfanning and hope you had a great trip visiting our side of the pond! I haven’t been to the Moffat yet but was glad to see you went. You also mentioned the Tennessee Pass line, I need to get up towards Tennessee Pass myself in order to get some photos of the line for my modeling research but living thousands of miles away makes it difficult as you well know.

I didn't make it out to Intercity Hobbies unfortunately: the Vancouver store was called Magic Box Hobbies, while the Rocky Mountain Train Supply was in Arvada, Colorado.
